(Regrettably, the confusion apparently didn't extend to actually awarding the neopoints.)

Sorry, for venting here, I was just shocked to see such... animosity... caused by an event that is supposed to be fun.

Now, I just need to keep my fingers crossed that the Roos pull through and sweep LD!
As for the nastiness on the Neoboards, it wasn't all from Shenkuu. Apparently, MI was coming in and pretending to be on Shenkuu to find out and alter their recorded scores. Yuck. I feel like a ref: "keep it clean." This is why I stick to PPT. It's very respectful here!

What a shame that an event like the Altador Cup - a competition, purely for fun and in which cheating probably isn't even POSSIBLE - has become a focus for all this hate. But then, with no disrespect meant to the younger posters here, many of the Neoboards users are kids - with playground politics and all the nastiness that goes with that. Having said that, there are some adults who also need reminding of the meaning of the word 'sportsmanship'.Matrinka wrote:Oh my. I decided to see how my team was doing on the Neoboard. Shenkuu has REALLY pulled its socks up over the course of the champs. In honesty, I wasn't expecting it to do well at all, and to see the way it's clawed up the rankings - very impressed!Daze wrote:Shenkuu is in 4th place.
