I was able to complete the Altador plot yesterday (for the royal astronomer trophy) although I was wondering
if there are any other open plots that I can complete for a different kind of trophy.

There aren't any other plots open, but right now, there is the Altador Cup that you can get a trophy for.

Plots are by definition never open, they just made a special exception with the Altador plot, because, well, who knows? It it smaller than usual plots though, and I think they once said that they kept it open, because they wanted new players to be able to experience a plot (even if there isn't one running at the time).

It is (from what I heard) actually closed. However I only completed the plot recently but I still got the prizes.

The Altador plot is in fact still open, and will remain open quite possibly forever. If anyone is in need of assistance for it, please refer to this thread.
