So... I finally joined the forums... Yea, it took me awhile, but I did it! So...... My name, as you can see, is Aiko. I don't speak english - well, not that much, and certainly not enough to post anything - but, my best friend, Yu-Yu types for me. She knows English, I'm so proud of her! (Hi! says Yu-Yu!) Her real name is Yumi, and she has a full name of Yumiko! Anyway, that's enough of an introduction for now I guess... Talk to you!

shavynel - it would be shimashta instead of shimasu, as in past tense, but the pinkpt filter doesn't let you put the full romaji version of shimashta - there should be an I in there watashi wa...*counts* Juu nen benkyou shimashta. Youchienn cara.

I know what abacus is! Soroban ^^; It appeared on our homework and no one knew it because it was from our old textbook, which we no longer have.

Well...I think you would say Ima, nihongo benkyou shimasu. (insert grade or year) cara benkyou shimashta.

Or, if you no longer study Japanese, (which I hope you never quit, awesome language ) it would be (year/grade you started) cara (year/grade you stopped) made benkyou shimashta.

but I digress.

The only words or phrases I know in Japanese are 'Konnichiwa' 'Konnichiwa, mina-san' and...um...that's it!
