Ye Olde Newbie Intro

Sat Dec 30, 2006 11:45 pm

Well, in relation to PPT I've been perusing the guides since forever and just now decided to join the forums. It seems like the people here, if the front page is any reasonable indication, are pretty awesome.

Neopets-wise, I've been playing since I was 12. That's six years now, but my account hasn't been around that long. I bounced from account to account, and my first pet Otokonoko (yay preteen Japan obsession, more yay for growing out of it :P) lasted until I was frozen when I was like 15. I don't remember what for and can't spell the account name anymore.

I quit for a few years and re-joined this December when a bunch of people from forums I frequent decided to play. Basically, I want to see what I missed out on. Way back when I was common enough in Evil/Monster Sightings. I totally forget what my account was, but I can kinda remember the SNs of the people I knew if anyone's interested.

Sorry for the essay and hello!

Welcome, Aufstandkind (that sounds German). Welcome to PPT (= . Nah, that wasn't an essay it was a paragraph :P

Sun Dec 31, 2006 2:58 am

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah, it is German. It means "Riot Child". I'm kind of Germany-obsessed, haha.

It seemed longer in the type-in box :P It always does, though.

Just call me Kat, as my real name is Katrina :P I don't really enjoy going by screen names.

Thanks for the drink and...what's a MUZ-TOK?

Sun Dec 31, 2006 4:38 am

Hands out gagh and bloodwine.

Sun Dec 31, 2006 4:40 am

Haha, okay, sounds great to me. I'm not sure what gagh is either, but it sounds intimidating in a good way.

Sun Dec 31, 2006 4:58 am

Gagh is best served live :D

Depressingly enough, it sounds like something I would actually eat. I like trying delicacies from other cultures that weird out my own culture. It's really fun, actually.

MUZ TOK means must talk. So if you don't do what MUZ TOK tells you, you'll be swarmed with cloned MUZ TOKs.
Which will make you go :x and  and o_O and  and :( . So...
MUZ TOK!!!

I hope that you'll enjoy Neopets more this time around.

We have a sticky in Neopets Help for Faerie Quests so if you ever need help finding something for a Faerie Quest then you can be sure that we will help you find what you being required to get.

Enjoy your stay and have fun!

Sun Dec 31, 2006 11:52 pm

Okay, now MUZ-TOK makes sense. Will do!

Internet ale, you say? That'd be awesome if it was made from concentrated craziness instead of barley. Craziness is the only thing I can think of that the net has in spades.

Thanks for the punch and pie, and I'm enjoying Neopets more already. I'm 100k away from a Cybunny and feelin' fine. These forums are nice, but the jury's still out on Neopets' official forums :P

I wish I'd known about the Faerie Quest area here before I'd registered a dummy account to search the Shop Wizard with. Oh well, live and learn. Thanks for the heads-up and welcome!
