I've been having problems with the little orange boxes that show when you haven't read a post. A lot of the won't turn white for me, no matter how many times I refresh. But then after getting frustrated, closing all the tabs and logging out and back in, they were all white, even the ones I hadn't read.

Is anyone else having this problem? Or do the orange boxes hate me and me alone?

It happens to me occasionally. =) Try clearing you cookies 'n stuff... that usually fixes the problem for me.
