Pink Poogle Toy Forum

Lately, I see more pages titled 'phpBB: Critical Error' than I see of forum pages. I've tried very many times to get in to the forums today and only suceeded for about an hour early this morning and right now (which is a nine hour difference). It seems like more and more of these errors come up daily (for me anyway). I know I just complained about something else, so I feel terrible for posting this, but I fear that with the rapid growth of these errors, soon I won't be able to log on to PPT at all.

EDIT: The first time I tried to post this message, I went to an error page after hitting the 'submit' button!

That's ok. I can identify with your frusturation. Know that this is only temporary until the new server is completely set up. I didn't want to have PPT offline for memebers while this is occuring so I asked my host to upload PPT only one of his shared servers until we can move onto the new one =]

Granted, it is a bit slow but I prefer this than not having it online.

It's okay... very buggy though. If worst comes to worst, just wait until the real forums are back up.

Maybe you should move to Europe and visit it froum around 9 - 17 CET. :wink: It's pretty responsive during this time.

Travel halfway around the world to get a better connection to PPT... I'll bet at least one person is going to actually do that.

I've been getting that error for awhile. The forums also run ridiculously slow, even when there are very few people logged on. I just bare with it and open up a game of Solitaire to play while I'm waiting.

And no, you don't have to travel around the world to get a better connection, you just have to adjust your sleeping schedule. Most of us (on the one half of the world) ought to be in summer vacation right now.

It's been acting mean to me too lately, which is why I havnt been posting at all... but today it seems to be acting wonderfully so I'm taking advantage!

Too many of you are trying to access it at once because you all have nothing better to do with your lives.

PPT has moved to a brand new, fast server. Those errors should now appear less and less and PPT will be able to be accessed lightning fast!

I've never had a problem with accessing the temporary forums, but I'm in england anyway

I was having a little trouble for a while, but I haven't lately. Maybe it depends on certain internet connections? Probably not, it could just be the times as you were all saying...
