Writing Board

Mon Feb 07, 2005 2:21 pm

As a writer I thought it would be a good idea to have a writing board in the Creative section of the forum. It could be a place to post short stories, poems, articles, essays, things like that so that other members can review them and critique them. I've gone over the boards just to see if there wasn't already a writing board and there isn't one, not that I can see anyway. Anyway, just a suggestion.

I believe the Ye Olde PPT Gallery and The Workshop Boards probably suffice for this. There just seems to be a very small amount of people who do actually put written art in these sections.

Ye Olde PPT Gallery
Now that's what I call art. Pictures, stories, poems, it's all art. Let your creativity flow! For showcasing ONLY!

The Workshop
An artistic oracle. Meet fellow creators and swap advice. Every skill you can imagine is on show.

I see. Knew I'd overlook something ;)

Anyway, thanks.

No problem, I look forward to perhaps reading some examples of your work at some point or another :)

Gallery Rules and Guidelines

I suggest you read that before you post. The Gallery does have some restrictions to keep things running smoothly.

Sorry. Heh, I only joined today and I'm causing trouble already.

You're not causing trouble.
I'm just a mod on that board, and the rules... are rather important to me.
And since I love them so much, I like to see people actually read them. It saves me, the other staff, and members posting there a lot of trouble.

And don't forget. If you want to show off your work you can always send it in to the Pink Ink as it has it's own art section. You can send your work to one of the supereditors.
