Missing PMs

There seems to be a number of missing private messages. Has anybody else noticed this?

In your inbox? I don't have any of mine missing...at least I don't think so. How full was your inbox?

I only have about 25 messages. I have gotten the e-mail saying that I got a new message and there was none there. I have also had people chat message me saying that they never recieved messages from me, but also had gotten the e-mail saying that they did get a PM; it was gone when they went to check.

In the case of not recieving PMs, it's likely that they removed the PM from the system after they sent it (you still got the message to you had one in your inbox though) I'm only guessing that there may have been some random bug with either the forums or your browser that cause those missing PMs.

Some people just like to send you PMs then delete them so that your email box gets filled up *nodnod*

I thought about the message sent to me had been deleted, but I know I did not delete the ones I sent to others. These are also not random PM form people I don't know. They are from and to regulars.

Oh, it's because I do that to Chris all the time. Not on purpose though, I have the incredible ability to make him go offline, simply by trying to PM him for a chat. As soon as I send the PM he disappears, so then I go and delete it.

I'm using 6% of my inbox and i'm missing nothing. I think it is only if you have a really full inbox

Nope. My inbox has been at 100% for many, many months now- PMs still come, but everyone a new one comes, the oldest one you have gets deleted.

Oh, thank goodness.
I've been going through and deleting to keep it at 98% because I was afraid I wouldn't get PMs anymore. ^.^ Now I can save all that for a nice long, quiet weekend. lol

Just another tidbit- the Inbox capacity is 250 PMs, the Outbox has no limit, while the Sentbox and Savebox capacity is 50 PMs each. The latter two can go over 100%, though...which puzzles me. O_o

Mine's 56%. BUT...before I cleared out all my old WereWolf stuff, it was at 84%.

MORE messages that I have sent have gone missing. I PMed four people and only two recieved it. I PMed them seperately and within a few minutes of each other.
