Personally I think we should have more skins... Yea I know we have three but it would just be cool to have more.

Hm, I don't really like any of the skins we have right now, though I really loved the aqua Christmas skin we once had X.x Though I don't know about the chances of getting that back again ...

Ditto, I used it year-round. =)
But subsilver is close enough to it to make me happy.

Once subRed came, I've never changed, but it would be nice to have Christmas back again.

I'd love the Christmas one again. Order of preference, Christmas, then SubRed.
Guess which one I'm using now.

The christmas one was pretty yes... *pokes Hunter since he's in charge of stuff like that*

To those of you who perhaps dont realise, it is not quite as simple as just installing a new plugin. The term "skin" is perhaps misleading. A more accurate moniker would be "Template".
As the name suggests, each new template is a bare bones affair which requires an awful lot of modification. Nearly every small tweak affected on current desgins must be re-done on newer ones in the source code. This may be simple to somebody of Hunter's skills, but it is awfully time consuming, and Hunter is a busy guy. Then once the aethetic issues have been resolved, there are the tehcnical changes. Many "hacks" ( the name given to technical modifications such as a sub-forum system), must be edited and seperately installed on each skin. This is by no means beyond Hunter's skill, but also takes a lot of time and aggravation.
In conclusion, a lot of work has gone into giving you 3 choices in viewing the forums. This is more than most public forums available. Be happy with what you have.
This is not to say we wont ever have anymore choices, but we cant just install them on demand.

I'm perfectly happy with SubRed, but the Christmas one was nice.
(I really didn't know it took that long. Doh.[/ignorance])

Hunter should pull his finger out and get his priorities sorted.

I'm not saying I'm not happy with the three one given, I really do enjoy the blue and black ones... Ahh anyways I should make a poll out of this, your favortie Skins (Templates).

It's tricky.
I've somewhat simplified the process of adding subSilver-based color schemes, but it still isn't a small amount of work. Even so, most of the themes do not come with the images to fit the customizations that are used by the forums -- it takes quite a while to assemble a matching set.
Another problem is that there arne't many decent subSilver-derived skins around. People change a few colors, don't bother with redoing the antialiasing and call make a theme called subUber which is basically subSilver graphics on a magenta background. Half the job is simply deciding if there's a template worth going through the trouble to install. So if you've seen anything incredibly pretty (or have a screenshot of the old christmas theme), do post.

Silver and blue, what could possibly be better?
Meh, anyway, I love it. There is no possible way to make a skin better than that, so I'm happy. =P
