I don't know if this has been talked about before but it seems to me that there are a lot of "help" topics in the neopets "chat" area. Why isn't the Altador polt guide in the help or games area as a sticky?

To your first question it's that sometimes the moderators do not pick up on the thread and don't move them to the appropiate forum (in that case don't hesitate to PM one of the Mods to look into it.) However, there is an exception one perhaps a subject banches out into a general discussion which may just be enough for the moderator to leave it there.
Regarding the "plot" threads not being on another board, it is actually best left where they are. These events are big enough as far as Neo is conserned that it isn't a good idea to stick them in one of the smaller forums. The only exception to this is likey with the wars, in that case we expand it to it own forum that pops up occasionally since they usually more involved (as it blends a plot with battledome stuff)
