Question about anonymous visitors to PPT

I was surfing the site here without logging in (sorry, I forgot to) and I noticed that after about a certain number of page views, I didnt keep track, I got a message that requested I log in. I couldnt go further without logging in. Is this new or what is this? You only allow a certain amount of views as freebies to non members then req either they log in or sign up? thanks

It's okay to surf without logging in, as this is a public forum in that respect, I think.
Certain aspects of the forums require logging in though, such as posting a reply or a new topic, quoting a message, etc. It's possible you clicked something that required membership access by accident, like the post a new topic button at the top of many pages.
