We should have a party.
And a 10,000 member podcast. *so obviously just wants to be in a podcast and is impatient*

I am very happy that PPT has now hit the 10,000 members mark.

The best about this is there can no more over 9000 breaking scanner jokes on PPT like this one below.

*A Random PPTer that only uses the PPT shoutbox these days asks Kym on the PPT shoutbox what the registered users count on the forum at?*

*Kym instead of giving the exact number decides to say the following*

Kym: IT'S OVER 9000. *breaks scouter*

it's still over nine thousaaaaaand

Sat May 12, 2007 3:54 pm

But now it's over ten thousaaaand. :P
...by one at the moment, but it's still over it.

Oh wow, 10k members. Go ppt! :)

Sat May 12, 2007 6:57 pm

For reference it took over three years to get back to 10K members :P

It's so cool that we got back to that standpoint :)

I remember the first time we got 10K members; I'm sooooooo old.

This is if you disregard the 10425 at the end of her profile URL...very common thing on forums, innit, that the member count disagrees with the user ID numbers? Why's that, I wonder...

But yeah, I was on here yesterday, and I saw it said 10000, and it was still cool to see that, cause it's a nice-looking number, and a huge landmark.

Sun May 13, 2007 1:33 am

I would guess that the additional 425 are the people/bots that have been banned... but i dont know that's just a guess

Sun May 13, 2007 3:31 pm

Yes I imagine that Rachel is right and it is related to banned and deleted accounts. Obviously the number of active accounts would differ from the total amount created.

Exactly.

TEN THOUSANNNNNNNDDDDDDDDD! :D
