You can't delete your account, but you could just...leave. And not come back.

If you have a really strong case, you could always PM one of the administrators of this forum. However, if I recall correctly, administrators do not usually delete users accounts when requested, as you may want to come back to the forum one day, and if you do, your account will be here ready for you.

Yes, it's much better just to leave. That way, among other things, your username is your'n and your'n alone, so that people who remember you aren't confused if a new person comes by and picks the same username (since, once it's deleted, it's available).

That said, do you really WANT to leave and never come back? Don't answer that, it's rhetorical, but most everyone is welcome to lurk as long as they like or as infrequently as they like.
