Deleting an account

I just realized that I signed up for this forum almost two years ago under a different user name, but have since forgotten about it. I wanted to know if there is a way to get that account deleted. What do I have to prove that it is in fact my old account? I just feel that it if I'm not ever going to use it again, then it doesn't really need to be around. Right?

I realize that a thread like this has already been created, but my circumstances are a little different.

There are a lot of unused accounts on PPT (the exact figure will always be unknown), and whether or not your other account is deleted makes little difference.

I'll reiterate from my previous post, Administrators do not delete accounts unless the user has broken the rules to a such a degree to merit it. Even then, they usually an operate an indefinite ban on that account rather than deleting it.
