I don't remember this being around when I changed my avatar last time:

Maximum dimensions; width: 80 pixels, height: 80 pixels, file size: 25.00 KiB.

If it was Windows or (I believe) Mac, it would've just said KB, but Linux usually adds the "I" (case in point, my system monitor which says I have 13.4 GiB free hard drive space).
...finally, people are realised just how kick-butt us nerds can be. =D
