Long in coming but it has to be said. I've been a member of quite a few online forums and I must congratulate everyone on PPT. Every forum has rules on "no flames" and similar, but this is one of the few places I've been where it's actually true. I guess PPTers are a genuinely nice group, and that deserves recognition.
Around here, I see topics that would quickly degenerate to flame wars in other forums continue for pages and pages without incident. Differences in opinion are respected (e.g., X won the election! Issue Y has turned into ZZZ!); even OmG!pPl V/H0 tYp3 lyk DiZ!1!!!1!!!! are few, and generally well behaved. I've seen trolls and their ilk come without sparking controversy and go because they can't get what they want.
So congratulations everyone for being nice, and thank you. PPT is a bright spark of positiveness in the generally lawless Interwebs.

Thanks!
Personally I think of PPT as being like the Care Bears family because we all love (Love is the main ingredient of friendship and a little sugar makes it even sweeter.), trust and have respect for each other (as well as having the willingness to help each other in our times of need). More importantly there is also the fact that the PPTers are also friends with each other.
Sure we have our occasional arguments just like any other family, but at the end of the day our friendship, love and undertstanding for one another is what shines through.

The Care Bears of tha intarnetz indeed. I like to believe there is a reason why I have chosen to make PPT my homebase to the exclusion of even fora that lean closer to my general interests. So, to every PPt'er, one and all:

I eat Carebears for breakfast.

Because they were made for hugging they aren't even crunchy.

They're a little squishy for my liking, especially when served with milk. I prefer Smurfs. It's the blueness, they give it an exciting flavour. Although their hats do tend to get stuck in my teeth...

Man... smurfs taste like blue. No joke... you know that distinctive blue taste?
Wed Nov 19, 2008 11:25 am
Yeah, I know what you mean. I think yellow flavour and purple flavour are a bit more distinctive though.
Wed Nov 19, 2008 11:38 am
i'd say blue is a more clear flavour than purple

Smurfs make your tongue blue as well.
Anyways, to get back on topic... *glares at Kym*
Thank you eilu! That is a huge compliment and very much appreciated.
And I love that picture, it's so cute.

I totally agree.
I can't play Neopets as much as I used to because of my computer, but I stay at PPT because this is where my friends are. I do my best to help everyone have a safe and fun time, but our members really don't need a lot of modding, unlike on other forums. Things break out here and there, but all in all everyone is really good and such just blows over.
I think we have the best members ever. ^.^

Love this post! I agree, PPT is such an awesome forum. I have such high standards from PPT, that it's hard to find other forums that meet my expectations.
Just found this on one of my photobucket accounts, I think it fits this thread perfectly. :)

Yeah. Recently coming back from frequenting GameFAQS, it was quite an internetial culture shock. Everyone here is so well-mannered compared to the "hey man i kill you to go bake this potatoes"-ness of everywhere else. (Well, mostly.) I'm proud to say that PPT has made me a better intarwebs person.
