Is it me, or has something changed around here 
Welcome back one and all!!
We hope you all found something to occupy your time while we were down. Even without Hunter "helping" you all out with his little suggestions
As you can see, we've been a little busy this weekend. We've had a lot of plans for a long time, and finally managed to arrange events so that we take them off of the drawing board. I think you will agree, the results are quite pleasing
Along with the more obvious changes are a few not-so obvious ones. For example, the Avatars that so many of you spent so much time creating have now been sorted, processed and uploaded for general usage! I know we have already said so, but I'd again like to say how impressed we were by not only the sheer volume of entries, but the quality and variety of the avatars themselves. Very nicely done, and thank you very, very much
Speaking of Avatars, some of you may like to know that the size limits for these have now been changed!
Wait wait wait!! Before you run off and start making 500 X 500 monstrosities, read on. You should realise that it is the file size Im referring to. The limit for avatars has now been upped to 25kb, while the signature ( combined images ) remains at 50kb. But you cant have everything, eh?
There are still more changes that were made, but many you will never see. They take quite a lot of time to perform and then sit in the background, quietly doing their jobs and never screaming for the credit they deserve. It is the neccesity of these changes that means some you might imagine should have been done, have not. Im sorry that some things havent been implemeted as of yet, but stay tuned. We got a lot done this weekend, but there are weekends to come. Just dont expect us to have to shut down again like this in a hurry.
Last but not least, I'd like to be the first to thank the other members of staff. The work put in, not just this weekend, but in the lead-up to this weekend has been phenomenal.

Personally, I hope that you had a fun weekend. I'm sure most of you did. I know I did -- I got Uru - Ages Beyond Myst, and decided to simply look at the sunset in one of the ages in the game (it's incredibly pretty). Perhaps that's why we're so late. Perhaps not. Perhaps I'm simply reading too much Little Prince.
Anyhow, we've done most of what was planned for the weekend -- maybe a bit over schedule (but hey, it's still Monday here, so I'm still within the deadline). So what took all that time? Mostly background stuff.
No, you're still Starting to Smell.
Moving on to the "visible" stuff -- the revised subBlack template. It now works completely like subSilver, with graphics to match the darker background. Make sure to check it out, if only to see if your avatar and signature look good. (With any luck, more colors will follow eventually).
The avatar gallery is new -- but Jim already told you all about it.
That seems to be it -- I'll go back to following Yeesha.

While PPT was having the upgrades I found neoextreme. It's run by Canadians. I missed PPT so much. I was going nuts.

Not exactly. Members with Moderator status could log in. Theres a subtle difference

Oh trust me, we new mods tried to get in... That last line on the downtime-screen was a bit taunting for us... seeing that we couldn't get in yet >P

Surprisingly, I was away for the past 3 days, so I guess I didn't miss much.
And I love the changes, the forums look much more organized now, and the stars are much better than the bubbles...

Yes! We got the stars back, *kicks circles off the side of a cliff* now the world is in order once again.
