I even deleted the old one, and I used that image before. Why wont it work now?

I'm not quite sure what you're getting at, but if you're talking about avatars, to use one, they have to be 80x80 pixels, 25 kb, and either a .gif, .jpg, or .png file.
It's usually the filetypes that cause problems. Keep in mind that .bmp doesn't work.

well... this might sound a little too obvious but i hope you pressed Submit after you entered the new URL?

Heh, as obvious as it sounds I neglect to do that sometimes
. Mainly when I choose an avatar out of the gallery, I see the picture already there so I keep assuming I did it already. I then go post and realize I hadn't changed it after all
