Please, do research into websites before you blatently attempt to slam them. As somebody has already told you, Kym is the sitemaster and readers support him. People need quick links because downloading loads of junk slows down things. People need snowager times because they change sometimes, and we need to know.

It's good that you're helping PPT to improve, but constructive critisism is generally constructive and aswell as telling you what to improves, tells you what was good.

Posting this on the forum is obviously going to get an angry response - we all frequent PPT and enjoy using it. Of course we'll defend it! Why not email Kym, the webmaster, using the feedback link, or PM one of the admins?

Yeah, the site has ads. Amazing, isn't it, that our site is apparently liked by so many people that it needs to get enough ads to handle the volume of users that visit. Obviously people aren't that bothered by it, or we wouldn't have that problem with the amount of users.

Secondly. If you hate the site so much, go away. This site is for help with Neopets, not for you to go all Stacy London on how it looks. Yeah, I've seen prettier sites. It's not about being pretty, it's about having the information that you need and being able to find it. I've never had trouble finding something on PPT. You apparently haven't even given it a fair chance if you're going on about how it's not navigable, because no one else that regularly uses the site complains about that. You just started using the site, and you're complaining. Give the damn thing a chance before you bash it.

Thirdly. Kym Huynh? He's the webmaster here. Everyone here in the main community is very supportive of his music. If you choose to skip over the parts of the site that promote Kym, fine. Skip over them. Go look at gaming tutorials or whatever the hell else you want to look at. No one is forcing you to click the links for Kym, but people who do follow and support his music, like myself and countless others in the community, like having those links there for quick and easy access. You're new here. Don't judge instantly that the links are for some random person, because they're not. They're for somebody we all deeply care about, and you'd better back off when it comes to judging him so quickly.

As for the other sections of the site that are linked at the top of the page, no one claimed this site was purely for Neopets alone. Gee, I'm sorry that you can't seem to ignore a couple of buttons at the top of a page that no one is asking nor forcing you to click on. The buttons go to parts of the site that people in the forum community have expressed interest in, and I know I've visited them all and have used the knowledge stored there many times. So what if it's not all about Neopets? If you want it to be all about Neopets, go to some lame site not as big as PPT. Go on and whine and miss out on all of the information here because you can't handle a couple of buttons. For cripe's sake, you sound like a seven year old annoyed at the fact that everything is not perfectly the way YOU want it.

Finally, guess what? PPT is without a doubt the single largest Neopets fansite. And you wanna know what else? There is a reason for that. Because of their content, community, and because they're simply the best in everything they do. So what if their layout isn't as perfect as someone with all the shiny knowledge of yourself thinks it should be? Who friggin cares? It has all the information anyone could possibly need on Neopets, and that's all that matters. When I want information, I don't go to Google and look through various sites until I find the prettiest one. I look for the one that is the most functional and has the most resources. That's PPT.

Thanks for your "professional opinion" (which is childishly displayed and anything but professional), but I think it's clear that none of PPT's users care. If they cared, then the amount of people visiting the site would lessen immensely, and all it does is grow.

Everyone, take a deep breath and step away from this thread. Almost every post in this is a bit too agressive to put it nicely. I know you're all eager to defend PPT, it's not needed. The only person who should be conserned about it is Yukio himself. If anything the situation was far worse than what it should have been.

To the author of this thread, Sharky, it seems to me you should have contacted Yukio/Kym himself directly than posting here. Although I'm all in favor of constructive criticism, your post seems more like a direct attack on us which wasn't need. Furthermore, some of your continued posting only worsened the situation between all of us. I'd appreciate that you'd leave it at the door next time you post here.
