Hello,

Along my travels through the web, I've come across this relatively new site with an article containing a "neoboard chat with Adam". I thought this was interesting, so I take a look and start reading it. The site in question is here:

http://theneocafe.com/index.php?go=info&p=adamchat

I then realized that it's the same one on PPT located here:

http://www.pinkpt.com/borovanchat.htm

Since this is a new site, I highly doubt that they've been around long enough to have the stuff PPT could have, so it looks like plagiarism to me. I also know that they have a history of "borrowing" things from Jellyneo as well, such as their portal designs, and a couple pages of content as well. But, you'd have to get into contact with someone at JN for full details on that.

Thanks for reading, and I hope this helps! I really hate seeing someone steal from a site I love! :D

PPT couldn't prove that the text was stolen from PPT, seeing as it was well, free for all to save off the website.

Though, i'd bet the titanium screws in my leg that they did. Half the stuff on that site looks veery similar to things on PPT.

Ohwell. When kym gets his law degree he can sue the pants off them.

True... but have you ever seen that conversation anywhere other than PPT? PPT is the first and only place I've ever seen it.

kym does keep an eye on PPT impersonaters. and its good to let him know if you see an iffy site.

plagerism is a serious offense...even in interwebs land.

That site has a connection with PPT. At least a little one. In fact, NeoCast (a division of the NeoCafe) did a podcast with Kym. Likewise, the PPT Show also featured people from NeoCast. So, I would find it odd if they did steal from PPT. I don't know if they did, I don't know if they didn't.

Hi all, thanks for the notice. Already had a chat to Dave regarding what happened. It's all good.

Hold onto your seats people... the SL is back.
