I recently put in an avatar of a hamster that looks like mine. Well as you can see its huge!! How do I tone it down? I didn't see anything in my profile allowing me to tone it down, so how do I do it?

Remember though, each graphic artist has different requirements and rules for their threads so you might want to read them closely and see if they would be able to make you one. If you just want a resize and nothing fancy I can do that for you, just let me know.

All I want to do is resize it. 80x80...okay...thanks! Where exactley do I put that in cause I can't find it when I go to profile?

You can't resize an image automatically through the forums, you have to do it manually with an imaging editing program.

Here, I've done it for you:

(It was a rectangle to begin with, so it's not a perfect 80 x 80 square, but rather an 80 x 64 rectangle)
Save and upload to your own server =)

Okay, you need to upload the picture to the internet. As joelzbutterfly mentioned, http://www.photobucket.com/ is a good place to go, along with others. Just make an account there (it's free) then upload the picture and it'll give you the address you need to enter into your profile.

Well, you have to upload it to your server. If you don't have a server, I'd be happy to let you use mine.

After uploading, you have to right click on the newly uploaded picture, pick 'Properties', find the URL of the image, and paste it into wherever it goes on your profile page here.

You need to upload it to a server that allows direct linking (such as photobucket), copy the url of the image and go to your profile and paste the address in the field that says "Link to off-site Avatar" and paste the address and then click submit

You have it saved right? Then login to your photobucket account, and you'll see a big gray box. Click 'browse' in the box, find your picture (which you title hamster) click ok, and then click 'submit' in the gray box.

Then, your picture will be uploaded. Your image should appear in a little box underneath the gray box. Then, look at the text underneath your picture and copy the URL. Then, paste it into the avatar box in your profile.
