Hey, I want to join this season-thingy as well!
So, um, Finland:
Winter:
January - Cold as hell, generally -10°C to -25°C, huge amounts of snow everywhere.
February - Still cold as hell, although the temperature can get close to 0°C so it actually feels really warm after all those really-cold-as-hell-days. Still snow everywhere.
Spring:
March - Hooray, the snow is melting, at least in the end of the month. Might get some rain... or more snow.
April - Generally the snow should melt during April, but definitely not all of it. Some rain, lots of mud, buds on trees and bushes, 0°C to 10°C
May - Full spring, the last piles of snow melt in the end of this month. Usually it gets really warm, too; 5°C to.. umm... about 18°C.
Summer:
June - Chilly mornings, but what the heck, it's summer! It is starting to be really green and pretty outside and appletrees blossom. 10°C to 25°C.
July - 15°C to 25°C, yay! The lakes and the ocean start to get warmer so that I might actually dare to swim in 'em. Lots of sunshine and summer solstice = light outside even at night.
August - Pretty much like June and depending on the year it either starts getting a bit colder or then it gets really hot, go figure.
Autumn:
September - Still pretty warm outside (10°C to 20°C) al though you can notice the summer is departing quickly. Leaves start to get yellow-ish and rains become more frequent.
October - Colder and more rain than in September, 'nuff said.
November - Anything from 10°C to something below zero. Might get snow, might not get snow, but definitely a lot of rain and ice.
Winter:
December - Snow, definitely snow. And cold as hell again (at least it feels like that since you have gotten used to warmer weather, 0°C to -15°C). It gets dark at around 4pm and the sun comes up the next morning around 8am; depressing. My theory is that the only thing that keeps people alive this time of the year is the general holiday-feeling.

How do you know who applied though? Are you suggesting the admins kill the applicants? Maybe we can convince them...hey admins! Do you really want to go out countless more times to waste money and time on darts? Don't lie to me, I know you guys have terrible aims...
...I really miss that ninja emoticon.
Zega wrote:April - We usually have snow on April fool's day, and then it just rains the rest of the month. April showers isn't lying.
We once had snow on April 1. Snow usually stops around Feburary or March, and that year was no different...and then we had this huge blizzard on April 1. My parents said the weather was playing a prank on us.

Believe me, their aim? PERFECT. *rubs arm and not-so-fondly remembers her capture after attempting to run away from cookie and pie-making duty*

So I take it if users here asked you not release the details on who the new mods are then that would mean people would have a shorter wait for them to be announced.

Win?
It's a job application, not a popularity contest. People won't 'win'. They'll be chosen on the criteria of who and who cannot do the job description of being a mod. Being a mod isn't all fun and games, it can be hard work and it takes a lot of dedication and responsibility to function as a mod. It's not a game.

Yeah, it's more of a curse.

Bingo.
Especially when you have to clean up the carpet after over excited admins. *nasty look at Yukio*

I realize all this. It was a reference to a song. And I really feel like you're (for lack of a better phrasing) picking on me a lot. Any particular reason?
