No go for me as well
Perhaps PPT should set up a mirror site to ease the congestion?
IDB is not hosted on the PPT servers so congestion is not the issue. And the problem is not a congestion issue anyway. IDB is kindly hosted by at JohnM's web site, creatureworld. On his main site the following is posted and I think gives the current status.:
Creature World
CW's doing some server maintenance right now, like we mentioned earlier. No data has been lost, and all of your account information is safe! So, while you're waiting for us to get Creature World back online, go out and frolic in the snow (if you have any) and enjoy your last few days of winter break (if you're still a student).
We'll be back soon!
Update #1 (January 2nd - Night): Don't worry, we haven't forgotten about you. We're just waiting on a reply from our host to begin doing something with the server, and we can't finish it until they get word back to us, and we have some time to finish up some things. New Year's weekend will be over tomorrow, so hopefully we'll be back up and running soon!

Update #2 (January 4th - Afternoon): Well, I really have no clue why our host still hasn't replied to my email yet. They've had two days now, and we could have been back online by now if they would have replied yesterday. I'm not sure what to say, beyond "soon". I'll keep you posted.

Update #3 (January 4th - Afternoon (20 minutes after update #2): Naturally, I just got an email from our host 20 minutes after I made that last update. Now that we've established contact, hopefully this won't take too long to get CW back online!

We are all hopeful that IDB will be really soon. (I am an IDB Admin).
