I use a Mac, and I can honestly say I'm not sure about Mac users. However, I do think it is possible, so I would take all the neccesary precautions you can - ask about on Mac help websites for advice, the mac community are generally a helpful bunch.

Also, as I side note, you'll find that 99% of adware/spyware never effects Macs because it was not designed to work on them. Not that that's an excuse to be lax, of course.

Agreed. I rarely use anything but Macintosh, and though most spyware won't do anything to my Mac, I still scan for viruses with Norton Anti-Virus. It's quite handy. ^_^

God, I sound like a commercial. "Oh, and Norton equals love, love, love! All those PC users will instantly fall in lurve with you and your virus-free Macintosh!" *Rolls eyes*
