Dawn loves you, Pokemon Kid! That meaning not true love, but I applaud you for saying this.

I agree completely. Whenever I was in fifth or fourth grade or whatever, this preppy person who was a "friend" of mine said she was going out with someone. I told her that was great, whereas I was thinking she was an idiot for actually thinking she could like someone in that way at that age.

When I was in fifth grade (the worst grade ever, by the way), I often heard...

"So, you're going out with (insert name here)?" or "Dude, I heard they broke up!" and sometimes "I totally made out with (insert name here)!"

And I was thinking, "What the crap?! You're all eleven years old!!! You shouldn't even be allowed to go out on your own!!!"

It's ridiculous.

I think it depends on what "dating" means to the young person. If it's like crushing on someone, it's perfectly fine and normal. Even getting giggly and holding hands is probably okay. If it's really bad, it seems like it's almost bordering on sexual harrassment, then you should talk to your mum or your teachers about it. Probably these people don't even know it bothers anyone.

...when I was 11 I went out on my own. i caught trains to places on my own. O.o

Anyway, it was always 'I'm going out with _____' but nothing ever happened except for a peck on the cheek. It was more just saying it.

Unless both parties involved agree on what is being done.
*shifty eyes*

Yeah, I was allowed to go out on my own when I was 11 too. -_-

Yes, exactly, it was more boasts and there wasn't much truth in it.

A couple of weeks ago, my nephew said he had a girlfriend and there was bunch of girls who followed him around, giggling probably. Lol, he's only 8.

In my school, this stuff always happened. They would "go out" for about a week, and then that would end. It was stupid.

Dating at 10...that's p5? About 3 years before I dated someone. And because of that I can tell you: don't start that soon. Then again, although it's not cute if you think about it now, but when you think about it later, you would think it was hilarious. It's not serious, then hey, nothing much to worry about. They're gunna learn it the hard way.

I never let any of my exes get even near my cheek XD

Personally, I find it annoying when everyone's talking about your private life about relationships. Bleh.

In my school, I guess the "popular" girls are like this: Oh I like him, but I also like him and him. Hm, I guess I won't make up my mind and flirt with them then decide who I want to be with. *Then comes another guy* Oh I like HIM.
-_-

I disliked school at that age a lot. Most of the boys would sneak up on the girls from behind, jump in front of us and start kissing us. Gowd, I hated it. I spent my entire recess hiding. >_>

I dont think its cute at all. There way to young to be thinking about having a boyfriend/girlfriend. If my sisters ever had bf's I would be horrified!

It is kind of cute that they think they know what it means, and that they want a relationship. But it's also sick that they think they know what it means, and that they want a relationship.
No way of stopping it, its been going on for a long time. Let them have their fun.

Hehe, Zero, you and me have alot in common. We always post in the same topics, etc...!

Anyways, It's not pecks on the neck or cheek, it's either a peck on the lips or so. Geez, ACK!

Oh yeah, Sitj (WHATEVER!), I was talking abot THOSE sites. My friends tricked me into going on those. Of course I am talking about porn sites..God.....DAMN!

OH! I go out on my own, I even go to the mall on my own. I went to another city alone.

EDIT: Also, now people watch Friends and That 70s Show and Mad TV. They pick up some nasty words and carry them to school. They also can do the occasional slap on the arse. *Shivers* That's CREEPY.

Mon Aug 23, 2004 4:11 pm

I believe it's possible, but highly, HIGHLY unlikely.

A friend of mine had her fist kiss when she was 8...o.O when I was 8 I still spat on the boys and said it got rid of their cooties. :D

Mon Aug 23, 2004 5:10 pm

That is the most stupidest thing I have ever heard. Little kids cannot have successful relationships. Rarely a high school relationship works out, therefore there is not much hope for the little 'uns. I believe you should just get over it, there's nothing much you can do besides ignore it.

And for the games they play, they don't really understand it. They think it's fun, they don't actually know anything about love.

Mon Aug 23, 2004 5:28 pm

Well...when I was in first grade (yes, a six-year-old), I had a "boyfriend" that I would kiss on the lips. (If we had known anything else, we probably would have done other stuff too.) We almost got "married", but we never managed to plan it. Now I realize how freaky that was...if I knew then what I know now...*shakes head*
