I'm reading Triss by Brian Jacques. I'm going to re-read all the Redwall books in chronological order.

I can't wait until Rakkety Tam comes out. :D

I really need to get going and finish (or at least make it halfway) through Dune (Frank Herbert).

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

The Sound of Waves by Yukio Mishima. Before you ask, this is required school reading, although it's really not that bad. :? Hopefully I'll be able to read for pleasure as soon as school gets out.

I'm splitting my time between Moneyball by Billy Beane (baseball book!!) and the Da Vinci Code. Both are really good books about vastly different subjects.

Never try to get away with Moulin Rouge allusions when I'm around... I know like every word of that film.

I'm reading Murder in the Viscarage by Agatha Christie. My sister got a bunch of her books for a buck, so I've decided to be lazy and just read the day away...

I don't know what to think about that book, it has exciting battle scenes, in between horribly boring dialouge and descriptions. X-x

Anyway, I'm currently reading a book on Advanced JavaScript, if that counts.

Ooh, everyone's reading such good books. :)

Sapphire Faerie, The Vampire Lestat is an excellent book. I'm a big Anne Rice fan. Wait until you get into the later books when she starts mixing the different characters from the different series. Excellent. :)

...Alex, I have the Silmarillion, but I haven't read it yet. Tolkien tends to get a little long-winded, in my opinion. After reading The Hobbit and the three Lord of the Rings books plus all the appendices and such, I needed a little break. I haven't found the change to pick it back up yet. After you finish it, please let me know what you thought. :)

SpiraLethe, Dune was a very good book. Are you planning on reading any of the other books in the series? It can get very indepth. I definately liked the book a lot better than the movie (which I have yet to make it all the way through). ;)

Destiny, are you reading Lord of the Flies by choice or for school? I had to read it for school. Definately not something I would have picked if I had a choice, but very interesting. Piggy always weirded me out. There was just something about him. When I think of that book, I remember most clearly the part where it describes the rotting head on the stick, covered in flies. I don't know how far you are, but I know that doesn't spoil anything. I can't remember how it ends, though. Would you mind sending me a short PM after you finish, just letting me know quickly how it ended? I'd really appreciate it. :)
