Get ready, here comes a big post:
Even "Teen Love" is dumb, it's STILL not "True Love". It's no different than "Young Love". And yes, JellyofLight, it CAN be more than kissing. They talk about.....No. I won't say. It's against the rules. And, I know them better than all of you guys. Don't try to correct me. Or "Sheesh" me. I can really get acted up when that happens.
Heads will roll.
Anyways, I've made a chart of age. Here it is:
Ages 1-5: The innocent child. Never even thought about dating.
Age 6: First year of school. Learning about those skipping games.
Age 7: Second year of school. Picking up dirty words.
Age 8: Third year of school. Often kids can get pretty nasty about here. Butt-slapping, talking about private parts, talking about making out and actually making out.
Age 9: The nasty era has finished. Now everybody has girlfriends/boyfriends. They have conflicts every single recess, but then make up next recess. It is very annoying. You lose alot of friends to love. On Valentine's Day, everyone says your a loser and a low-life for not having a relationship. It's a pretty hard year. But, you can make it out, slowly and painfully. It sucks.
Age 10: The last part of Grade 4, the beginning of Grade 5. The time where everyone confesses to their friends that they hate eachother. Then for the rest of the Summer, they miss them so. It's pretty funny to see your friends cry on the phone and stuff. All over a stupid thing called love.
**Not at Age Yet. But Still Knows About Older Ages.**
Age 10 (Half-point of Grade 5): You start to bring stupid expressions of words to school. Like: Wack, wick, mondo-cool. Everyone starts to walk backwars and talk about dating and crap. They rarley play Foot Hockey, only when there's a girl around.
Age 11: Starting Middle School. I have a 13 year old friend and he says it's he**. (Man! Why can't I use the full word! I feel dumb.) I've never really investigated this furthurly though. I really don't know about Middle School.
Age 12: Rebellion starts. Dating with no chaperones start.
Age 13: Finally a teenager. You feel like you can swear. You feel like you can have a girlfriend/boyfriend with "True Love".
Age 14: So happy. You think you have a strong relationship with your girl/boyfriend. You only had a sevreral 1000 break-ups. But you still think it's a strong true relationship. Pity...
Age 15: Now this is rebellion. You don't listen to your parents and you start to swear very nastily. You forgot everything you did as a child. You start to think you are growing up. Guess what? You're not, you're as young as you'll ever be. You're only old when you have a child or get married. (Yes, that's you Natsmom! J/K.)
Age 16: You surprisingly remember your childhood and you feel dumb. Well guess what, you're still dumb. You think that that wasn't true love. You're right, it wasn't. But you think what you're doing now IS true love. It isn't, either.
Age 17: ^ Read up.
Age 18: Privilages, gone! You're an adult. You do whatever you want. SOmetimes, idiot 18 year-olds move out and live on their own. I don't know why. 18 year-olds are dumb. All of them who beg their parents for stuff when your young. You shouldn't get shi*. Your going to move out when you hit 18. Right? Move in with your girlfriend. Not everyone, just stupid peple. I know a few people on PPT who did. I find them stupid, too.
Age 19: ^ Read up.
Age 20: Some people turn out to be: Beer-Drinking-Girl-Switching-Cheating-Sweaty-Drunk-Cigarette-Smoking-Dumbas*es.
Rarley though.
Age 21-24: The unknown stage.
Age 25: Some people get married and have kids. You're considered old if you get married. Or have kids. You old people with children. Sheesh.
Age 26-75: You feel you waisted your life. You should've not have waisted time getting married.
Age 75-DEATH: You dead. If you got married, you waisted your life.
There.
How can you put a timeline on life? Especially since you haven't experienced any of this as you haven't been to Middle School yet. You can't know about these ages as experience counts for everything. I'd rather you not call anybody who are making life choices stupid, these type of comments are likely to offend, especially as you are implying that certain members here are "stupid". One day you'll grow up and have to make these choices too, sorry for being patronising but your post bugged me.
Also, my nan and granddad fell in love aged 15 and 16. They're now in their 70's and don't feel like they've wasted their lives getting married as they have 2 sons and 4 grandchildren who they are extremely proud of. Young love can be real. I believe that two are my best friends are truly in love, they've both admitted that they don't expect to last forever, as University is looming in two years but they're happy to spend the time they've got left at school together. Whatever happens will happen and my friend has said that if they last beyond Uni, they know that it was meant to be.
"Young love" to me means playground love. True love comes with maturity and experience.
EDIT: Please don't bypass the filters with *'s. We can all tell what you're saying and I personally find the bad language offensive.
