"Yes?"

The girl had turned around and saw him get drenched. Oh no! I'm going to die! I finally get the courage to ask someone a question and this happens! He knew he had to respond so he said "Never mind". Not wanting to stay in the room any longer, he walked camly over to his jacket and picked it up. He then bent down and grabbed his staff before heading for the door. As he walked towards the door he put his drenched shirt on and opened the door. Walking towards the door he had seemed cool, calm, as if it didn't bother him but as soon as the door was shut he rushed back towards his dorm. He thought about the way the girl had looked at him, the way he would never be able to talk to anyone again without expecting something bad to happen. Getting into his room he locked the door and took his clothes off. He dried himself off and put his clothes on the drier. Taking another pair of clothes out of his drawers and cupboard, he put them on and headed back out, leaving his staff behind. He headed down towards the monorails thinking all the way Why did it happen to me? Why do bad tings have to happen to me?

When Nerevar had reached the cafeteria, much of the food was gone but he managed to get 2 waffles. When he got to the table in the far back (he liked that table most of the time becauase he could just sit and observe and come up with new jokes in relative peace) he did what he usually did, slather on some butter and syrup, then sit and watch everyone, just so he could see all of his school mates and try to find any potential friends. a few more people ventured to the farther back tables, but none went within 2 table rows of his.

After the training was done Raiu walked off to the cafe. Raiu was against taking the monorail because it was better training to walk or run every where. Raiu reached the cafe in a couple of minutes and walked in. He got bacon and scrambled eggs and instead of sitting down he ate standing up in a corner of the room away from everyone else.

(Sorry, its just that I believe that healers have some sort of self defense, because who will heal them before they die of an attack? [sorry again, thinking of pierce books])

Amia stood next to a while, biting on an apple. She hated sitting near boys, so many were idiots, and the only good seats were near them... so she decided to keep herself in soltude, for the while.

She looked around.

Is it just me, or are most people eating together boys? They must be talking about us, deciding which one to ask out for a date ... boys are disgusting...

(just a flash of her mean side.)

Kenji, his being dampened with the subtle fragrance of a dulcet soap, stood just within the entrance to the cafeteria. He took note of its increasing population, such an observance revealing the day’s humble beginnings. A modest “excuse me” forced a sudden shift to his side as a student passed him by. No change of face nor reply came from the silent Kenji as he watched her unheeding retreat toward a waiting table, its seats already filled with an assumed collection of friends.

The moment soon came to pass. Kenji found himself with a bowl of oatmeal, unimpressed with his selection. At least, however, it was reasonably healthy. He moved predictably toward an unoccupied area, gaze cast half-heartedly forward.

Amia finished the last bite she could, and tossed it into a nearby trash bin. She retreated to her room, for another few hours of silence...hopefully.

Please gods, allow me to have a few hours of sleep withput my roomate wake me up...

Elily joined the winding queue of students waiting restlessly to get their breakfast, and it wasn't long before she reached the buffet table herself. She grabbed some toast, a cube of butter, some slices of fruit, and a glass of juice, before heading to an empty table. She sat down, noting the surrounding tables were mostly empty, or had one or two people. There was this Souragion girl sitting nearby, having porridge for breakfast. She had seen her around a couple of times before this week.

"well this is a new one!" Nerevar remarked as he noticed several people also sitting at tables alone. "I guess I might as well try and make at least one friend.." he thought. He chose the rather dark broody one.. As he started to walk over he remembered his name was Kenji, and that he wasn't exactly brooding, he just looked a little unhappy. When he was a few feet away from the table, Kenji suddenly looked at him. Nerevar froze, not expecting a reaction like this. He decided to wait and see what he said, as, if he was in a bad mood it wouldn't be a good idea to try and make him laugh, that would probably end up with Kenji getting mad.

( i have decided that if anyone wants to take less time writing Nerevar, my nick name could be Nerev)

Kenji dipped his spoon beneath the steam-dominated surface of the oatmeal, sceptical if it had lowered to an appropriate temperature. It still seemed rather hot, the realization bringing to surface a short-lived saturnine expression. His attention soon shifted to his rear in result of an abruptly felt looming presence behind him. Kenji was quick to direct an apathetic eye over his shoulder, a red-headed, Souragion boy soon falling into view. Immobile, perhaps not expecting Kenji to take such immediate notice of him, the boy remained silent, eagerly awaiting the promised endings of such an awkward still. Kenji turned back around, unsure of the student’s intent, however holding too little interest to inquire as to what he desired.

Chessa stood still as she watched the boy go. For a moment she considered going after him and grabbing him by the arm, then telling him about her odd "nightmares" or whatever they were, but... No. She couldn't. That would be ridiculous and foolish, and she knew that the boy didn't actually hold any interest.

The boy was gone now, leaving Chessa the only person in the garden. She looked down at her grass stained feet, damp with dew as well as sweat. She sighed and pushed her hair back again, wondering why she hadn't brought a hair tie for it or something. It was so troublesome on breezy days like this.

Holding her shoes tightly, she began to pad her way through the grass back toward the school building. She was hungry, and she knew that she most definitely ought to have gone to get something to eat considering how loudly her stomach was grumbling, but she decided not to. Eating meant sitting in a room full of people who were bound to be talking and laughing incessantly, and that was the last thing Chessa felt like putting up with while she tried to swallow down some way-too-hot porridge.

After a bit Kenji turned back around, and Nerevar let out a huge breath, and decided to sit at the table, to try and make his aquaintence. "Hey, Kenji." he said. "How are you doing?" Nerev was unusually shy... he wasn't used to this kind of mood "...uhhh well... uhh bye" Nerevar then threw away the disposable plate and headed out to the garden, he could think there, in peace.

Iris opened her eyes slowly, blinking hard as her pupils shrank painfully in the light. Already she was in a bad mood, as she swung round on her bunk and placed her bare feet on the floor. She yawned, streched and began to get dressed.
Her memories of last night were awakened only by when she stripped down to wash, touching the painful wounds on her shoulders and arms. She looked warily at the two whips as she fixed them to her waist, and lowered her clothing over them.
"Damn things," She muttered. Everyone must have gone down to their business already, Iris realised, noticing how painfully quiet the dormitory was. She heard laughter outside, and then the sound of weapons clashing on the lawn.

Iris watched the dustmotes swirl, golden, in the light from the window next to her bed, and then pulled her bag from her bunk post and stuffed an assortment of books, paper and drawing materials, she headed to the food hall.

((heeheh. sorry for the delay. I was on holiday. ))

Kenji moved a hand atop the bowl of oatmeal, leaving within its wake a shimmering trail of blue. Its descent was brief, soon lighting upon its surface, promptly vanishing in result of the content’s greatly opposed temperature. Once more, Kenji dipped the spoon beneath the slushy mix while the Souragion boy, now seated at the table, attempted to spawn a conversation with him. He paid no heed, unfortunate for the lonesome student, and sampled the oatmeal that, thanks to his aid, now was an ideal, edible temperature.

“Bye…” The student uttered with a crippling stammer, quick to discard his plate and take his leave. Kenji, seemingly unwitting, expectedly paid no mind, wondering if perhaps he had intimidated him. A smirk etched its way upon his face.
