I didn't know that that happened to other people, or that there was a word for it.
Whenever that does happen, I think I only realise its a dream because its impossible. Like.. One time I was walking down a staircase, but there was no stairs or anything, but there was a guy with a gun chasing me so I decided to run but then the stairs disappeared. So, I realise that its a dream. The guy with the gun falls after me and is standing with the gun pointed at me, so I walk up to him, and put my finger on the end of the gun, tell him to shoot. He shoots, and when I take away my finger, none other than a flag saying BOOM comes out. Then I ran up to the TV that I made appear just then and got the remote and put it on his foot. That was a pretty recent one.

I have lucid dreams. In all my dreams I have a very strange feeling of knowing I am dreaming but also knowing where I am. I may dream about a place I have never been, and yet know exactly where I want to go and what I will see when I get there. I've had dreams about walking in forests, being in castles, ect, and I always walk around just knowing where I am. I dream about places I have never been, but in such detail that I think I must have been to a place like that at one time. Sometimes I will dream about a place I have never been, and then I will go someplace in real life that looks like a place I dreamed about.

Sometimes I dream about people, but I have a very hard time focusing on anyone in my dream. Faces are blurred and if anyone talks to me in my dream, it doesn't sound much like talking. It is more like thinking. I usually know I am dreaming just by the lack of sound. It is very quiet in my dreams and if I "hear" anything at all it sounds like me. If that makes sense. If someone talks to me it sounds like me thinking what they are saying.

Sometimes I'll be dreaming about someone, and watching them, and then suddenly I will be them. Sometimes I will be with someone and talking to them, but they will just disappear if I turn away for a second. Sometimes when I dream I want to be alone and then people or monsters or something chases me. Other times I want to find someone and I can't or they disappear when I do. Other times it happens with objects. I will be trying to find something and then it will disappear if I don't concentrate on it.

Most of the time my dreams don't make sense but it will seem very interesting at the time. I will think it is a cool dream but when I wake up I don't know why I thought it was cool. Sometimes I even hear a song in my dream and I think it is sounds so pretty. But then if I try to remember it when I wake up I can't!

Yeah at times that happens to me. Once I was half sleep, and i could still see my dream and hear what was going on outside of my room, but i couldn't open my eyes and my body wasnt moving. So, I start freakin out and then finally my eyes open. It was the weirdest feeling but it only happen to me once thankfully.

Always in the last few seconds.

I just get this sudden thought into my head, and then I realise and wake up.

Sometimes I think I'm awake but I'm dreaming. Like, I'll dream about waking up and going to get changed and believe I am. Then I'll wake and think 'AAAAAH! I'M NOT DRESSED! IT'S TEN TO EIGHT!!! AAAAAH!' and get up. :P

When I freak out in a dream, I just realise I am awake and wake up. Like one when aliens were taking over the world, and the roofs of everyone's houses were lifted. Everyone's beds floated into the air, and me and my little sister hugged for the very last time and held hands until she was brought up into the sky...and I was the last one in my family left. When I started floating up, I woke up because I realised beds don't float. One of the saddest dreams I've ever had.

Yeah, that's exactly like me! And sometimes in dreams, it's as though I'm watching myself do things, not doing them myself. Most odd...

I've had lucid dreams as far back as I can remember. I thought it was normal and everyone automatically did it. When I was about 7 I told my mom, and she still thinks I'm insane.

I now officially believe that I totally lose touch with reality when I dream. I can have the wackiest dreams and still not realize it's a dream. Last night I had monster M&M's after me, and Dumbledore was trying to reason with them. Did I know it was a dream? Nope.
However, I also dreamt last night that I was chatting on AIM, and I knew I was dreaming, I remember saying to Robot "Am I typing in my sleep?"

I don't have lucid dreams that I can recall, but I've had some really weird ones lately. o.O;;

The only thing I can think of that's close to a lucid dream is this: anytime I trip/fall/am going towards the floor in a dream, I have this sensation like I'm falling off a cliff, even though I haven't moved in my bed it feels like I'm falling, and I abrubtly wake up.

Hey, that's funny! ^^ Why didn't you just eat the M&M's? Regardless if it were a dream or not, I would have eaten them. Mmmm...

I had a dream about killer shampoo during a forest fire. I had to rescue wild animals attacking my friends, it was cool. And then my Dad pushed me on a swing in the middle of the woods and I flew away. I woke up longing to give my Dad a hug. :P

Hmm.... well, remember the old Mini M&M's commercials where all the Mini M&M's formed together to create these huge shapes, and then they could work together to do stuff, etc.
Well.... in my dream, tons of M&M's were alive, and they had formed together to create giant M&M's and they were walking around... it was very scary/strange.

that's what happens to me although I usually jump into the air as if I've been dropped from a height and bounced on my bed, it's kind of wierd. I've never had lucid dreams, even i the most stupid situations, I still believe it's all real.

Eheh, I only have lucid dreams in the morning, and only if they started out stupid. :D

Once I control my dreams though, they kinda lose their novelty and I wake up. =/

That's happened to me a few times! I thought I was the only one.

I think I've had lucid dreams a few times, but the only one I remember clearly had the lucidity as a sort of a comfort. I dreamt I was living with an American Indian tribe and there were enemy warriors attacking us, and I was scared at first but then I realized it was just a dream. I still went to find my best friend to make sure she was safe and to tell her everything would be okay because it was just a dream. I found her, but before we could go hide, the enemies found us and shot us in the back and that's when I woke up. But I remember a distinct feeling of calm and telling myself it would be okay because it was just a dream.

That's a fairly normal dream by my standards. I've had some pretty weird ones, but they aren't usually lucid ones.

Lucid Dreams... *Shudders*

They're better than the best videogame/book/movie series trio. Better than LotR, better than Harry Potter, better than Star Wars...

>_>

<_<

Look, I can do whatever the heck I damn well want to in them. How fun can it be to fly around with no fears, no personality flaws AND LOADS OF WEAPONS AND HAPLESS TARGETS TO USE THEM ON?

And the pie button. One mustn't forget the pie button.
