I'm sorry to hear you sprained your wrist.

Still, don't push the homework too much. Oh wait, I don't need to say that. :P

You could ask if you could write a little less as it hurts after using it too long. That could happen, even just typing. There was this time I sprained my wrist multiple times in one week, but only very mildly. The multiple times occurred 'cause it didn't seem to hurt and I used it as normal, which caused more injury.

I hope you get better soooooon.

Aw, that really, really sucks. Like how I'm going to have to get braces soon. :( At least your friends can sign your cast. Unfortunately, mine can't sign my braces. :\

EDIT: A sling? Ouch. That's bad. Can your friends still sign it? I haven't seen too many people with one, I can't remember.

Excuse me....a splint o_O I've heard of splinters......those sharp "spikes"....

Um...it's basically two flat rods, one on each side of the arm, velcroed on to make it look complicated. =P It basically does the same job as a cast of holding the wrist in place, but it's removeable. Basically, my doctor said that some doctors would have used a cast, but she decided a splint was more convienent and did the same job, I just had to wear it longer than a splint is generally worn. =)

I broke my wrist a little while back. I had to where a cast for 6 weeks and a brace for like 3 weeks. Don't worry, you get used to it after a few days. It's not too bad.

*rolls eyes*

Then again, you may actually want to heal. Yeah... you might actually want to heal. *thinks*
Well, at least you didn't break anything or rip anything (personally depending on what you rip; thats far more painful in my mind then breaking a bone).
Rest up, and feel better.

well actually last night after i posted this thread my mom was reading something the doctor gave her and it said i tore some of my legiments so i cant use my wrist AT ALL! So now i can only type with my left hand which sucks because im right handed so i cant type for some time and i'll talk to you guys in the next two weeks.
Thanks for the "Get Better" guys it really helps deal with the pain. :)

I hope you get better soon, being injured sucks. I tore something in my hip two months ago and it still hasn't healed. I had to hobble in the door after aerobics today.

The ironic thing is, she sprained it after leaving our game of dodgeball. Well not really ironic, unless we were playing with a metal dodgeball or something...eh, well you'll heal.

At least nothing broke. I know someone who broke their leg when they tripped over a ball.. they weren't even playing a game or anything. And my brother broke his thumb when he fell off the couch.

I hope you feel better soon.

Ouch!Sorry to hear bout that, I did the same 2 years ago when I was playin basketball and my friend (whos alot stronger than me) threw the basketball to me and and streched my wrist really far back. But I guess I got it a little better off since I didn't tear any ligaments. Then my stupid dog went and snagged my arm while I was holdin her leash and jerked my arm and re-hurt my wrist, so that goes to show let it heal!well I hope ya feel better soon!
