Heh, was just checking up on my internet connection (cable, connects when computer turns on and disconnects when off), and was alarmed to find that it was at 27 days, 3 hours, and 57 minutes- then again, I usually leave my computer to sleep by itself instead of turning it off. Juuuust about to reboot it before that desktop error that popped up a few days ago drives me insane.

So how long's your computer been on? If your connection must be established and reestablished, just give an estimate. :D

Just about exactly eight hours. I never leave my computer on when I'm going to be gone for more than an hour or so, or when I sleep. It's a compulsion I guess.

My computer unfortunately can only go a maximum of maybe a week before I have to shovel in some more coal.

Currently at about 36 hours.

2 days,1 hour,16 minutes and 30 seconds.

Its usually on all the time, but once in a while I turn it off. Rarely, though. About 5 times a month at the very most.

I dunno, it's never on for more than 12 hours, though, I always switch it off when I'm not using it.

Hard to tell. Probably since I accidently unplugged it when I was trying to get the mic to work...I think that was a couple weeks ago, a week ago, something like that.

4 days so far. My only thought? "Only?!"

I was certain it was on longer than that.

Now I discover that the Ipod is still connected to the computer (and considering my lack of technological knowledge), I question whether it is wise to shut my computer down at all.

Hm..about 4 hours. I turned it on around 7 this morning-Are you supposed to leave it on overnight? Every time I do that, the monitor puts itself into energy saving mode, and I don't know how to ring it back to normal mode.

[--is technologically clueless--]

I use a laptop, and I usually have it on until I go to sleep. Of course, it always runs on AC power, not the batteries. ;)

I always leave it on, but it froze yesterday, so I had to restart it.

No, I never officially left; yes, I am gone forever. I have also permanently left AIM. If you need to contact me, drop a line on LJ. Same username.
