I think that all of the good set makers have probably been mentioned on this thread at one time or another, however, there is one set make I would like to bring up which, not surprisingly, no-one has mentioned.

Kamuii

I don't think they're at the forums any more, unfortunately, but their set making skill was exquisite, and, I would have to say they would be my favourite set maker, infact, my current set is made by them as well!

I've always had a fondness for the sets that Spira makes *points at set*, but there's so many talented people on PPT, its difficult to narrow it down.

Robot, Chii, Sakura, Starchaser, Marissa, there's so many to list.

As far as Sets go, DM, Robot, Christopher, and Koku usually have interesting sets. Xil's current set is also "interesting".

Squee! I like Sakura's, Yoshi's, Spira's, Chii/Feather/Squibble/I DON'T KNOW DARNIT! Dx's, Rikio's, and a whole lot more that I'm too tired to think of. All of them surpass my skill by far. *worships them*

<advertisement>Vkceankraz aka Kim made my current Back-to-School set.</advertisement>

I didn't have a clue what Kim was talking about when she recently mentioned to me that more than one person had said they liked the sets I wear around. And quite honestly, I like them too!

People who have made sets for me: Sapphire Faerie, Clover, Vkceankraz, Knives, Mallory, Marissa, Moogie, Paul, Reverie, Rikio, ScottNak, Starchaser, Yoshi and ZH.

(I'm planning to attack various other people at some point sometime.)

Sets I admire most: probably Yoshi. *giggles* I'll always remember his first Yoshi set most of all though. (At least, I think it was his first.)

Wow... just saw this topic.
Er... thanks to everyone who mentioned me *blushes*.

Okay, now to my list of great set makers, which is going to be long:

Let's see, I'm always going to treasure that set Reverie did for me - I also love Hyperflutterby's - she just has a great knack for making beautiful graphics. Sakura also always does awesome work - for some reason, one of her pieces that stands out is Cassi's Giving Tree set. Yoshi.... is Yoshi, and has unbelievable create-from-scratch talents, which I greatly envy. I also love Rikio's work, even if I only did just find out she was a girl. Sorry! I love the pictures Robot uses, and the simplicity and elegance of her sets - she has such a beautiful unique, style. I also generally love the pictures Apricus uses for her sets, especially that city one she had a while back. Even though I haven't seen her around in a while, I always loved Mallory's work. Kim's stuff is also always great *flaunts gift set*.

Hmm... I absolutely adore Paola's set for LAQ a while back, and she's done a lot of other great work. ZH!'s set's are always unique and interesting, and Marissa's work is great (she's also one of the first graphics makers I remember from when I came to the forum). Um... ahoteinrun's drawing skills leave me in complete awe. So do Shollia's. And I love the avs Chass contributed to the gallery. I love the LJ icon Fzun made for me. Koku and Spira make awesome sets. Rageaholic doesn't do a lot of work, but all of her sets are great (and usually hilarious). And sort of a blast to the past, but Lina Blade's sets were fabulous.

...why do I have the horrible feeling I'm forgetting someone?
Well, if I am, don't worry, you're still great anyhow! :P

well mazil always does great stuff and so does Marissa. I think that DM has come a long way from where she started. Iconoplast also has some great sets.

...and I hate to say it but I like the sets I make...
