For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

"Well, if we need shelter than we need people to make it. I vote for everyone else, besides me. Okay, alright,"

Oh noes! I don't know who to vote for! *wails*

*hands around chocolate so that everyone shall love me*

*takes a bit of chocolate* I took 2 people, one I was suspicious of and the other I drew from a hat. Then I chose from one of those. Which one did I pick? *eats chocolate* Yum... chocolate...

This isn't as easy as who has the button, is it? Then, at least, nobody dies if you choose the wrong person... Hmm...

*Cautiously takes Jellyoflights chocolate*

Right then...the first name out of a hat...when you all find out who I voted for, I am so sorry, it was random :(

Random voting does NOT mean everyone picks a random person. We do it as a whole and everyone votes for that person. But going a day without an execution is just giving the wolves a free kill. There's always a chance we might get one.

Whaaaaaa?

PM your votes to me (ScottNak) on who you think is the werewolf.
Votes will not be revealed until the actual execution. Which means, while you discuss you will not know how each other has voted.
However, just before i execute, you will know who voted for who. Ultimately, VOTES ARE NOT KEPT A SECRET.
You MUST make a vote by every execution day. You may only make 1 vote, but you may elect to vote for 'nobody' if you wish. You can also change your vote as much as you want until execution occurs.

It doesn't say that we all agree on one person, jsut that we PM Scott with who we vote for.

Whoever has the majority of votes on them is executed.

That majority vote is based on everyone's vote. There is nothing in the Rules that say we have to come as a group and choose who to vote out.

He suggested that we do it random earlier. I think he was just explaining what it meant. I too misunderstood what he was trying say.

I may be on tonight, it depends on how stubborn my mother is.

Thu Sep 30, 2004 10:36 pm

Just a clarification,

it is the person with 50% of the non-nobody votes that will get executed at 8:00 tonight. Obviously if no-one gets the 50% mark, there will be no execution. Also if there is a tie vote, there will be no execution.

Example:
15 people, but only 12 vote with a "non-nobody"
50% is 6 votes. If one person has 6 votes, that person will be eliminated. If no person has 6 votes on them, no-one will be executed.
If two people have 6 votes on them, no-one will be executed.

And... there are 2 werewolves around. Its not a crafty lil trick ;)

We NEED an execution. If everyone just goes and votes for someone on their own, then there's not a very good chance of that happening. Now, as this game is new to PPT, at least one of the werewolves will have posted by now, being excited that they got such an important role. Probably on the first page.
