Hm, I'm surprised at how many times I've posted in the last month. I honestly thought I was going in a slump (really not in the mood lately).

That's not rude.

Some people have too much time on their hands o_O. (meaning the posters)

I was the top poster the first day the forums came back. On the old forums. I was like number 14 or something with about 8200 posts. I don't care much about them anymore though so I'm not trying to compete with anyone.

What can I say? I have an inability to shut up. I didn't know I posted that much, though.

Most of my posting was done right after PPT came back. I was *so* excited, I went post crazy. I missed everyone so much, I posted my thoughts everywhere. :)

I've slowed down a lot, especially since my two olders girls are in school now. I try to post when I can, though. :) It also helps that I talk to a lot of my PPT friends off PPT now. ;)

Huh...I thought that I went down more ranks than that when I started to slow down.

I'm sorry but your comment is deeply offensive to me Mermaid Hil. Yes, it's true I have been posting a lot because I was *super* happy PPT was back and because PPT was the only place I could go to escape from reality which is a little hectic at the moment for me. Honestly, if the PPT Forums went down forever (Hope that never happens) I won't die. I will survive. I don't need PPT to live or what not as I think most of you are getting the impression the Top 20 Posters need PPT. I do have a life.

I never dreamed I would ever be in the Top 20 Posters.

Random facts:
16 people have broke the 1000 posts barrier since PPT was reset.

Igg, Runevalkyrie and Yoshi have 1 thing in common besides being PPT Staff and that is they are the only ones from ScottNak's top 200 PPT posters list for May 2004 to be in both this top 20 poster list and in the top 20 in ScottNak's top 200 PPT posters list .

I can't view that.. what does it say?

I'm a little offended by Hil's comment myself since I'm within the top three posters, but she meant no harm, I know. I certainly can live without PPT, too.. it would just be hard because I'm a girl with no friends in real life and no confidence to make any, so I guess you could call me a computer junkie or nerd. *shrugs*

Hmm...this is interesting. I do notice all those people posting a lot. I remember Scott's old pretty spreadsheets with all this too, it's kind of fun to see. :P

As for myself, I don't really know or care. Woo!

Basically its an EXCEL file with the top 200 posters on PPT (before the database breakdown). It compared posts with those of few months ago, and a lil' few fun lil' facts i threw in because i was avoiding hw...

i mean for the benefit of you.

Scotty, ever going to do another one of those for the new forums?

Wed Oct 06, 2004 5:55 am

Well...congratulations to those people. Let's just hope that their posts have 'nutritional value'.

Lol that cracked me up.

Mermaidhill - Everyone goes through a period/a few periods where they will be extra active on the forums. But always, the enthusiasm will die off, they may get bored with Neopets and the forums. You for example were an active poster before but now I guess you've found other interests in life or your enthusiasm died off. In fact, many of the top posters from the old days are not around anymore (Chromefox, Venomous, etc).

I for one got bored a while back but after a year or so, I regained my interest and decided to come back. It's sort of like a sabbatical. Who knows, maybe you may get interested again one day and start posting everywhere and anywhere. ;)

I never was trying to offend anyone...people just take it the wrong way :x...
