I've never really heard of a positive slambook before this. I remember that in sixth grade, the house principal found out that someone had been passing a slambook around. A whole bunch of people got in trouble for it because of all the nasty stuff there was put in it about certain individuals.
This is an interesting concept, though. Hmmm. Maybe I'll get myself one of these new-fangled slambook things.

The slambooks I know are the kind were you wrote down your friends names in order, the top being friends on your goods side today and the botom friends who werent. Throughout the day you would deuct points from a set total (say 25). If sombody didn't save a spot for you, you'd deduct a set amount of points for the offense. If some did something good (like giving you a cookie) you would add points.
So you wanted to be at the top of everybody list and be a "good friend".
It was fun untill people started threating you you with point deductions if you didn't buy candy for them.
I've heard of the slambooks where you write down negative stuff about the person, but I've never heard of one ever going around any of the schools I went to.

Me and some of my friends had a slambook once only it was more like the burn Book in Mean girls. We just someones name on a page and wrote mean stuff about them. We only did it cuz we were mad at one person and it's not like they ever saw it or anything.
