I just looked and it was completely red. It's pretty cool. I got a picture of it, but it just looks like a tiny dot in the picture. It is hard to take a picture of the moon.

Heh, it wasn't as cloudy as I thought, I saw it not too long ago, pretty cool it was red and faded into a whiteish color, and it was technically just in the Earths shadow not a true eclipse.

Have I ever mentioned... that one of the things that honestly freaks me out in this world... are eclipses?
I'm fascinated by them... and it's a totally unjustified fear, but i'm still freaked out. I still watch... because ... I mean... cool.
But it... raises the hair on my arm. Just... chills me.

It's like driving through the mountains with your head hung out the window of a car... spooky. *nods* (If you must know, another unjustified fear of mine is driving in the mountains)

No eclipse in New Zealand mate.

My roommate and I decided we'd try to see the eclipse at about 11:00 last night, but the sky just happened to be one big blanket of clouds. It seriously looked like the surface of the water if you look up while you're underwater in a swimming pool. So...no eclipse for us. Of course, when we went to breakfast this morning, there was not a cloud in the sky (there still isn't, come to think of it).

It's also pretty cool that the Rex Sox won the World Series under a lunar eclipse.

For those who didn't get to see it live- here's a picture that was taken over Mexico City-

Missed it. But then again, I doubt I could be able to see it over here anyway. That was a very clear picture though. ^_^

I'm always a day late and a dollar short. The sky was perfectly cloudless last night. And the moon was shining through my bedroom window, and it lit up half the room. Why couldn't we have had clear skies the night of the eclipse **kicks clouds**

I got some pictures of it, and was basically going out every 10 minutes to check. 'Twas uber-cool.

I watched it for about 10 minutes or so. I got bored, and sleep became much more appealing, so I went to bed. ^^;;

I walked outside once lastnight, and the clouds were covering most of the good, old and white moon. So I didn't bother to check again. Plus I forgot to and I'm scared of the dark... *whistles innocently*
