Personally, I think tatoos look tacky. Other people might find them attractive, but I really don't. I don't have a problem with other people getting them because it's THEIR body, but I never would.

I love mine. All the girls in my dorm got one when we graduated. It is a mark of our higher education!

I think it would be nice to have something not too big.
I want one of Tinkerbell between my shoulder blades, would like to have a Tribal Butterfly just above my tail bone, and maybe the Taurus symbol on my left wrist.

Like this one?
Sorry it's a bit small, I think I have a bigger one somewhere but I haven't developed the photo yet. (It's only henna btw)

Yep, something like that. Mine would be a bit bigger though.

If I got a tatoo I'd get it on my lower back and it would be small or cute. But I want my belly button pierced more so I'm getting it done for my birthday.

They look good on some people. However I pity the people who get Asian writing done without knowing what it means...there is a great site called Hanzi Smatter that displayes botched tattoos and talks about what they REALLY mean.

Sometimes people go way overboard with the inking. However, I would like one or two of my own someday. I have a very low pain threshold, so I would need someone to hold my hand, but that and my status as a minor are the only things standing in my way.

A few years a lot of my friends got Chinese and Japanese symbols. We had a guest teacher from Japan and my friends were most upset when she told them their tattoo's didn't say what they were supposed to.

I have one on my back hip...hold on let me see if I can find a picture...
*digs around her photobucket account*
Ahhh, there it is

It's in a place where only a few select people get to see it
I'm planning on getting a dragon on my shoulder, but the one I want is going to take 5 sessions and finding someone to draw it for me

The best tattoo I've ever seen was my French teacher in jr high, she had a rose tattooed behind her ear and it was just so, subtle and sweet. She was quite the interesting lady.
I'm too indecisive for a tattoo at the moment, my eyebrow rings can be taken out when I no longer want them, (its been 4 years now) but I don't know how I could handle something permanent when I'm so indecisive.

I have a small sun tattoed on my right shoulder, I love it and its very unobtrusive so I can cover it up with clothing or display it if I want. I wont be getting anymore though, I used to want one on my ankle but Ive been told its very painful there and Im far too much of a wimp!:D
Ive seen people who have had the chinese symbols and theyve been wrong, Id feel like a right prat walking around with it so I feel for the people who are stuck with them.

My parents think they're a stupid waste of money, and that anyone who gets one is stupid and deranged. Which I don't get because my mom's sister, her sister's daughter and son, and her brother have one. Plus, my other cousin wants one and is going to get one.
But me? I think they're kind of cool; they show individuality! I wouldn't get a huge one, though. I'm probably going to get a little heart/rose/butterfly on my ankle/shoulder. After I'm old enough to get out of my house, though. My parents would kick me out if I got one. Then again, my parents would kick me out for anything.

No offense with people with tattos but I personaly find them to be a little degrading when they're just out in the open for anyone to see, but I can understand if it's under their shirt or something like where the whole world can't see. I just don't see why you need to scar your body for life.
