Am I the only one on the planet who doesn't think so? I picked Hurly because he's a sweet guy, not by what he looks like. If Sawyer had a better personality, I might pick him, but he doesn't.

The thing is, Hurley isn't particularly interesting, at least not from what I've seen so far. Sawyer, on the other hand, is probably the most complex character on the show. He's a masochist, emotionally and physically, who pushes away relationships while subjecting himself to pain, because he's fighting the "Mr. Sawyer" that's inside him. I for one am interested in seeing if Kate will want to invest the effort needed to help Sawyer and what exactly she'll do.
Not to mention, Sawyer has some really funny one-liners!

Oh feh!! If I were Kate, I'd tell him to go find a good therapist and move on with his life. He's campy, cheesy, and a jerk, and never mind the trauma he suffered as a kid or whatever. He has cute dimples, true, but that's not enough to make me like him, especially since Jack is also hot, PLUS he's nice! lol

Sawyer has a nice package, sure-- but I'm a Charlie fan all the way. Even if his band is an Oasis rip off. Then again, I'm a staunch Clare/Charlie shipper, so go figure XD.

I do think Sawyer is hot. The only way I can see his personality being important is if you were planning on spending more than 1 day with him.
