I'm WELL chuffed! I was at a dance class so I missed the match. Can anyone give me the finer points of the game?

I was in the middle of a Fosse stylee dance when someone ran in saying 3-0!!!!!! And we were all trying to dance, cheer, freestyle and ask who scored all in one go...didn't really work but oh well. People were dancing round with the England flag and waving it time to the music. It's a moment I'm not going to forget I'm sure!

*snorts* Watch makers don't make very good football players. England still sucks anyway.

I would have liked to have seen what would have happened if they lost. You saw what the supporters did last time!!

Ok, this attitude towards England is really starting to annoy me now.

Oh yeah, I agree that Vassell should be in the starting line up, he's a really good player, but nobody recognises him for his talent.

We all thought it was going to be an easy white-wash, but I'll give the Swiss Lads their credit. They had us on the run for the first 20 minutes or so, and actually had me a little worried.

One could almost feel a little sympathy for them if it wasnt for some of the "fouls", they claimed. I wasnt aware that some clumsy oaf tripping over his own feet deserved a free-kick, for example.

But alls fair in love and football, eh?

Rooney is still the boy, and Jerrard is forgiven.

Ooh, Jim, we won, stop being so bitter :P

It's not like Owen's famous for his dives, is it?

Croatia's draw with France can't be fun for the England team either :P

Ugh...I hate England at football >< Please tell me noone here has an England flag attached to their car that waves in the wind.

I don't. Thankfully :).

I agree with Jim, the first 20 minutes or so were worrying.

England's stats vs. Croatia:

England have Played 2 games, Won 1 and Drawed 1 against Croatia

24th April 1996: England - Croatia 0:0 Friendly
20th August 2003: England - Croatia 3:1 Friendly

The way I see it history is against Croatia and come 21th June 2004(Next Monday) it will be a easy victory for England.

*shrugs*
Croatia seem to have been a bit of a surprise for the tournament. I hope they beat England. And they did manage a draw against France, which is more than England.

Actually, that France match was diabolical. Beckham taking a penalty against Bartez? For one thing, Beckham's penalties nearly always go to the same place. And it's not like he has spent a lot of time in the past training with Bartez, is it? >.>

On...Italian TV, I believe, throughout the match David James was referred to as Calamity James.

I seem to be the only one without one of those blasted england flags on my car.

I still don't forgiva Gerrard. We probably would've won this match anyway, but if he hadn't done that "pass" against France we would've got a point out of it.

i just hope that oneday you say that to the wrong person, ive been there aint pretty.

saying that i couldve done with the good laugh that switzerland scoring twice in injury time wouldve bred, still i learn to get over such things.
