I'd like to see the kougra look more like a cougar. Less cute and happy (though the current ones are too happy, but the other kougra images are). More strong and fierce, but still lovable.
Though from some of the recent make-overs I'd rather they just leave the kougra alone. I'd rather they not make it look awful like the wocky and lupe.

Agreed. I've begun asking myself if Disney didn't just buy out Neopets? I mean, all the sickeningly cute pets!!! Overdose on sugar!!!
If it actually looked proud and fierce, it might scare the kiddies, so Disney *ack* I mean Neopets will just make it look more like Dopey Dwarf!

I don't want them to change the Kougra, the reason I got a Kougra was because I thought it looked strong and fierce (even though he's a baby now) but if they make it look like a chubby kitten I think I'll burn all the asparagus. :twisted:

Anyway, I own a Kougra, he's named after a tabby cat I had when I was young, I wanted him to look realistic, so I painted him Christmas, That was the closest I could get to a grey tabby look, and my real life cat was known to wear clothing from time to time (though never a Santa-ish fur thingy and hat). If they remake the Kougra to be cutesy. I'll go mad. My cat was far from cute, he had an attitude problem. I suppose as a last resort, I'll shell out the money for a Darigan paintbrush, purple isn't really the colour I had in mind, but I'd rather the attitude be right (moody rather than cutesy).

I love the kougras! The blue one isn't my taste, but I don't mind it. Kougras have always been my favorite neopet. I think they're fine as is...but I also have a baby one, which is absolutely adorable. The normal one wasn't as cute. Runevalkyrie is right, though, kougras aren't the pets that need the revamp most. Tuskaninnies are quite ugly...I don't like the current meercas either. Peophins are blah (esp that baby one...eww). I don't particularly love the Scorchios...mah, whatever.

Yeah, the meerca's desperately need a makeover, along with the tuskinniny. Peophin wouldn't hurt, either.

I think that the whole specie should be redrawn. It looks alright, ut im sure neopets could do a better job!

TNT has been drawing kougras with big ears and paws on their merchandise. The kougras looks fine to me, and I see nothing wrong with how they are drawn. I don't want my kougras to instantly turn into big-eared, big-pawed cats that look like everything but their body has grown.

I always thought it was a tiger but someone pointed out to stupid me that its a cougar which is where the name kougra comes from.
