Neopets Action figures?

Just picked up the latest issue of the neopets offical magazine and they talked about neopets action figures coming out this summer

They're going to include famous neopets characters from the site and card game like Jeran, Lord Kass, Illusen, etc. Also they come with lots of accessories and a petpet. sorry if this was posted by someone else before.

Nope. I'm pretty sure this brand new

I knew this was going to happen. Action Figures and a Barbie type thing. Therefore Illusen would have a petpet and different clothing. Like a Barbie.
Ah well, it was expected.

Yep, I saw that in the magazine when it came out, I was wondering the same thing, probalby will be available at Walmart, Kmart, Toysrus, etc.

Oh great.. Instead of doing neoschool and fixing glitches, TNT is going to do action figures. Just great..

This has got to stop. I am so sick of "Neopets merchandise". I bought one plushie at Limited Too, and then I realized that buying this stuff was completely pointless. And a waste of money.

Actually, a Kass action figure in place of another few months wait for neoschools seems like a fair trade off to me.... *dodges flying fork*

I agree it's a waste of money. There is a point to it, though. To support the expanding Neopets corporation. And it'll stop eventually, once they suck the market dry. Hmm...action figures, tho. Interesting. Will they have karate-chop action?

Hmmm.. if that were to actually work, the action figure would be more than likely to steal your wallet and mail it to Neopets!

Forget it, not buying even the McDonald's Happy meals until they quit doing Neopets.

The figures were advertised in the 2nd neopets magazine too, though only a few were shown (Jeran, werelupe king, some scorchio in armor). The text says:

Legends of Neopia The exciting characters who inhabit Neopia come to life with these fully poseable action figures. Each comes with a unique Petpet and set of accessories. The adventure starts now!

Actually. I'm rather interested in these.
*hides model horses... and action figures... and various other collectible items*
I'm not so much a fan of other stuff they've done (the plushies, TCG)... but action figures? I could go for some of those.
Especially if they had a few of the defenders of Neopia... and other such chars. Jeran...
It could be really cool.

I'm actually looking forward to them too. Especially jeran and kass. and not all neopets merchandise is bad. I collect the tcg for the art and a friend of mine likes collecting the plushies. I think alot of people including me likes to get some kind of physical representation of something they like. Oh, and they just talked about the figures in the magazine, no pics

Nope, there are pics, an advertisement on the first page of the mag. its there. I saw it!
