I don't have any special ring tones on my phone for any one, though parents might be a good one to look into.

Normally mine plays some MIDI I don't know the name of, though.

Eheheheh! I download real ringtones so I have Drop It Like Its Hot, Goodies, 1-2 Step, and Lala. (plus the Virgin Mobile commerical from MTV that goes "Happy Chrismahanukkwanzakaa xD).

Umm, I'm using 1-2 Step right now. I don't think I assigned special ringtones for anyone.

Haha, my friend has a 'Hey Ya' ringtone for whenever someone in her address/phone book thingy in the phone calls.

I've yet to figure out how to do it on my phone. However, I've downloaded "Let's Get It Started" and "This Love" (well, I did a long time ago)...surprisingly, I'm not using them though. I'm using one of the weird default ones I have. Dunno why, I paid for those ringtones.

If I get a cell phone, and bother to do special ring tones, my friends and sister would all be Window to the Past. I love, love, love that theme. I just hope the guy who composes for Order of the Phoenix has the guts to pay royalties to John Williams for it. Judging by the eminent regard for inter-movie continuity in the last director turnover, though, I wouldn't count on it...

But by the lake, I would apply the Two Suns Formula to Window to the Past. Like what John Williams did when Luke watched the suns set. Slow the tempo, break the rhythm, and don't quite finish. Poignant even when you don't know the theme. And when you <i>do</i> know the theme - well! If I thought it up on an amusement park ride, this new composer can think it up in his spare time.

Meh, no special ringtones for anyone on my mobile. I either have Sweet Dreams, Baker St by Foo Fighters, Blackadder or Minority by Green Day.

But I'd probably have different LOTR themes, like my mom would be the Isengard music, and good friends would be Rohan, and if I was crazy enough to call myself I'd get the Eowyn theme (which is only a small segment of the Rohan theme)....

And if a Furcadia buddy called it'd probably be A Gift of a Thistle, because everyone on Furc's been *dying* lately!

I'm really suprised that this poll indicates most of you don't have cell phones. I mean I don't, but that's because I have no money for one. Most of the people I know IRL are constantly on their cell phones.
