How do you say initials out loud?

Oy... LotR. I catch myself reading it as "Lotter" in my head, and I often have to stop myself from saying that out loud and looking foolish.

I do that too, but I say it out loud just because it sounds cool and it's easier to say.

A couple of days ago I was looking up a cache on geocaching.com and the title said "YAPIDKA". I didn't know what it meant, so I started saying it like "yap ee dekaya" or something. xD

On things like LotR or PPT, I'd say "Lord of the Rings" or "Pink Poogle Toy" mostly..

But, on NASA, I'd say the word "Nasa"

But on something like "Lol" I'd say "Ell*oh*ell" XD But, on something like WTH, I'd say "What the heck?"

For me, it varies between words.

I say the letters, unless it's something like NASA. Or for etc, I say the word etcetra.
