i did my laundry earlier today, and heard, as i always do in the laundry room, some freshman whining about having to do his own laundry. A FRESHMAN IN COLLEGE!

so i got to wondering, how common is it for people to not do their own laundry? i've been doing mine since...*thinks* maybe age twelve? something like that. i know people that have started doing it even younger.

what about you?

EDIT: for clarification purposes, "under age 12" includes people who are actually 12. yes i know i should have put "12 and under." but it's too late now.

i do my own, and i used to do my brothers when i was still at home, coz i was fed up of never having any clean clothes.

i'm not very good at getting round to doing ym own.... last year i went a month without doing any, and i could have gone longer (thank heavens for a full undies drawer!!)

I'm 15, my sister's 19, and we don't do the laundry. My mom doesn't do it either, even though she doesn't have a job; she's lazy. My dad does it, and he's the busiest guy in the family.

Well, I do it sometimes cause I know how, but since my dad's already doing it and hasn't complained or anything, I can leave it with him for a few more years. :P

I'm 17 and I have never done my own laundry, I don't even know how to work the washing machine. My mum does it for me as well as cleaning my room and cooking for me I love my mummy

I'm 13. Only occasionally; my mom or dad usually do it.

I'm 14 and I sometimes do it myself and other times someone else does it for me. It usually depends on who is home and if they are busy or not.

I'm 14...if I really need something done or if my mum asks me to I'll do it, otherwise she does.

I did it myself most of the time before we moved, but my mum isn't working yet...she needs something to fill her time.
