Well each has their good and bad points.
Sony - Probably rules single-player games and the PS2 has the widest selection out of the major consoles. I do think for the most part, Sony has the upper hand on the console market.
What it lacks is great multiplayer capabilities.

Nintendo - Definately owns the handheld market. And the GC has the best variety of multiplayer games (probably the most fun multiplayer games as well).
What it lacks is great single player games and more mature and darker (as in "not bright") games (thought both are rapidly improving)

Microsoft - Is the powerhouse for graphics and owns the online market (no matter if with computer or console) Contains many great First Person shooter games (though so does the PS2) and XBox live is a great addition to the online gaming community
It's flaw is the lack of quality games, it has just a small handful (literally) of great games.
That is a perfect description, My playstation is always on stand-by, all my other systems are back in the states with my grandma which is a SNES and a NES, I have a N64 but I only have two games for it, plus it's not at my grandmas, it's in storage somewhere. I have a GBA but in never gets played unless I go to my grandma's or on the road for a long time. When I get a PSP it'll be played as much as my PS2 but a little bit smaller.
