DM: I think it's a great set, but the blurry thing does make you a bit dizzy. I like it better without the blurry thing. Because, when you have that blurry thing, you can't focus on all the good aspects of the set - like the "Breakdown" text. Also, I think in the top right corner of the set there's a bit of blank space, maybe you could put some darker pink in there too!

CONGRATS DAWNIE-SAN! =D *huggle*

DM: Lovely! The white 'Breakdown' text behind the main text is a little destracting, but other than that it's wonderful^^ The shakey thing makes me dizzy too, BTW...-eyes roll-

Dm: Your sets are getting better every time! I really like it, although the shaking is annnoying and gets me a bit dizzy. I love how you used the mozaic effect, it looks great in the sig! However, theres one thing thats been bothering me about your sets, you always seem to use the same font in all of your graphics. I think its time to try a new one, the current one is usually hard to read and looks too thin. But the set is great overall! :)

Uh...it's supposed to do that, I had it visioned in my head and I just thought "that would look great with the lyrics of Breakdown by Michael W. Smith". But, the reason I always use the same fonts is I can't download any. Once Best Buy dies down from Christmas crowds (I'll have to wait about a week), I'll ask if I can buy a font CD I saw there.

DM was on fire! : I like the colors and the image, but why is it shaking 8/10

Could any one rate my sig, it is three they I had done and then I animated them like so

Sat Jan 01, 2005 6:53 pm

Firefox- Skipping for now, since you didn't make those siggies, only animated them.

DM- Arg. Dizzying. I definitely prefer the non seizure-causing version. :P I really like the text position in this signature. Though you do use that font a lot, it looks decent in this set. The only thing besides the animation that I have to complain about is the bad quality (grainy, etc).

DM: i personally like the non-shaking set more, since you can't see a lot on the shaky one. things i like: the shadow on breakdown, the little squares and the font choice. things i don't really dislike, but things that make me go "Hmmm..." xD: the small subtext, the open space (though that isn't really that much) and also the shaking :P

can anyone rate this set i made for albadror?

Havoc: What's the image URL of the Faerie? I've been trying to find it. Anywhoo, I really like it. However, the scanlines are a bit heavy, like Ap said. You did a great job blending! Even though black borders don't really go with sets, this one seems to. Like Ap also said, don't be afraid to experiment. All of the graphics makers of PPT go to where they were by experimenting.

Sorry I'm so late :( I cropped it out of a TCG, but I found one already done: Image

I haven't even had time to work on my scan lines yet,so sorry about the delay DM![/img]

Random Havoc: Lovely set. I don't know about others, but I think the scanlines are fine. I only have two problems with it. One, the font you chose for the text doesn't seem to fit with the picture and two, it doesn't seem like you've done much to the original picture except move it around etc. Like others have said, don't be afraid to experiment!

DM was on fire!: *Ish dizzy* I like the still version better. First, it doesn't make you dizzy, but also, you can't focus on the little details and some nice parts of the sig. The squared effect really goes with the picture, and the shadow of the main text is a nice touch. Great set!

Firefox: The sets are nice, nothing wrong with them, but they are a bit plain. Like with Random Havoc, don't be afraid to experiment! I'd say take away the animation, and use one set at a time. For slower computers, it really appears very choppy, and doesn't really let you see the sigs the way they are.

Jens: Awww...that is so cute! But anyways, nice set! It's simple, yet effective. I like how you put the subtext and av text on the line, and not completely on the sig/av, it's unique and I doubt many others have done it. I like the faded grid in the background, and although I have no idea what the black stuff is, it just goes with the sig. I love the color scheme too! The only problem I have with it is that you may want to center the main text on the sig.

First. Blend. Ever.

Icky, icky.

I'd like ratings for that and also this set I made for watericesage's set contest...

AutumnElf
Rating: WaterIceSage Set

Overall I think this set looks pretty nice but here are my main things I'd look to improve. First, I think the main text and subtext aren't visible enough and I would make them darker. The single pixel black border off-sets the sets blue balance and in my opinion a dark blue might work a little better. I do like how you have kept the background simple and how you altered the direction the quiggle is looking in the av and sig. Good work!

Can I get some ratings on my current set please? EDIT: I realise how horrible the edges of the av are, and I'm working on them :) .

AutumnElf- The blend isn't too bad. Great for a first try!
The set, the text is a little too hard to read.
Hellyer- I love how your set is transparentized! Really cool! :)

I made a subeta avatar.....

But I honestly liked the first one more....

Ratings?

Adam: that's a cool symbol, and since it's actually really good i'm gonna give stupid comments xD: the animation is a little too fast, it's hard to read the 'obsessed' + you could have rounder borders, overall it's funny and subblack proof!

Sun Jan 02, 2005 4:27 pm

Autumnelf: The set-The text on the avatar watericeage is quite unclear and if someone wanted to know what the avatar says I don't think they'll really get it. The siggy. Again the text is a little hard to read but the quiggle and the background matches good. ^_^

Adam: very cool icons, love them!

Could someone rate my current set? Thank you! (note that my set is quite crap)
