*muses* I thought Flotsam and Jetsam were also the names of those two eels in The Little Mermaid?

They were, but the terms "flotsam" and "jetsam" referring to shipwrecked cargo go back hundreds of years. Disney took the two words and used them as names for Ursula's eels, and later Neopets took the same two words to use as names for two Neopets.

I'm aware of what flotsam and jetsam mean in dictionary terms, I was just wondering if I was correct in remembering that disney also used them as names for two underwater-y creatures. That's why I said "Flotsam and Jetsam were also the names of two eels..."

I know, I was just making sure you weren't insinuating that Neopets got the idea from Disney ;p (Even if they probably did!)
