what are your favourite books and/or authors, and your least favourites?

personaly, I believe that Orson Scott Card is THE best author, and his Ender's Shadow series are my favourite books, closely followed by his Homecoming series.

least favorites have to be nearly all of asimov's(sorry!)

Tolkien and Rowling, of course.

Jane Eyre -- Charlotte Brontë
Memoirs of a Geisha -- Arthur Golden
Fools Crow -- James Welch
Wise Blood -- Flannery O'Connor

I can't remember any others at the moment.

EDIT: I suppose I could add Fast Food Nation since I'm always advocating for people to read it. It is useful for information, but I don't find it entertaining.

Read Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser.
Watch Love Actually.

All of those, and nearly all other sci-fi fantasy writers...Rowling, Tolkien, Ian Irvine. And, of course, Colleen McCullough. :D

And many more besides...
