I don't normally listen to country but I do like Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Jr., Hank Williams Sr., Alan Jackson, and Tracy Byrd.

The CMT outlaws concert was on the other day... that was AWESOME! Seeing all those "outlaws" was cool. Kid Rock, Gretchen, Big and Rich, Montgomery Gentry, Hank Jr, and a bunch of others. I love that Kid Rock is going country. I wish I was Gretchen *laugh* Everyone else wants to be Tyra Banks, or some famous movie star... I want to be Gretchen Wilson :P :roflol:

Oh yeah, and how about George Strait getting those 51 greatest hits? Go George!!!! It's a great CD :)

At the moment I'm listening to Josh Turner's "Long Black Train", and before that was Joe Nichol's "If Nobody Believed in You". And even before that was Toby Keith's "Whiskey for my Men, Beer for my Horses." Take a guess at what sort of radio station I'm listening too. ;)

So basically, yes, I like country.

Kenny Chesney's new cd came out on tuesday. I LOVE it! I love the last track, of him singing from his chair on the beach, I can picture him sitting there singin. :) <3

My dad listens to a lot of country. His new favorite CD is from Big and Rich. And he must constantly play it over and over and over and over again. Plus, my uncle and aunt are big fans. It's constantly on over their house too.
For living in New Jersey, seems my family is big on country. I'm not really into it to much. Probably because I was forced to listen to it as a little kid. :P

Nope, but if you ask my mom she'll do a happy jiggle and dance some line dance while answering your question :P

Where I lived up until August, the only radio stations you could get in clearly were country...I learned to like it pretty young. =P

But, please, NOT Toby Keith. My stepsister loves him, and played his CDs nonstop. ::shudders:: A couple of his songs are OK, but in general, no.

I feel all sad now, though, no country radio station. And I threw my Dixie Chicks CDs away, 'cause, uh, I ran out of CD cases and they were pretty scratched. =(

Scissor Sisters counts? :P

I'm not much of a country person. Bluegrass is all right, but really the only remotely country music I care for is Nickel Creek. And that's 'cause it has like slightly acoustic-rockish-pop undertones..

Ooh! Country. :D I like the Dixie Chicks, Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney...well, a lot of people. ;P

Well... everyone else in my family lives for country. It's all they listen to. But me, I had to be the odd one and not like it. But um....I call Garth Brooks my guilty pleasure. I llllllllllloooooooooovvvvvvvveeeee Garth

Oh, and my 12 year old niece wants to marry Kenny Chesney

I can't stand most of it.

But, you can't entirely hate a genre.

Johnny Cash=amazing. There are a few more... but I can't remember.
